Pros: Very appealing graphics, has many capabilities. Cons: Not family-friendly; not a variety of games to choose from.
We purchased a Microsoft XBOX console for our children two years ago. We bought it hoping to give our children a new aspect of video game technology. However, we soon discovered how this console is not very family-friendly. In our opinion, there are ...

Pros: Great potential
Broadband Internet
High Definition Compatible
Virtually unlimited investment funds from Microsoft Cons: Expensive
Big,Bulky, Ugly Green Color Scheme
Not a Progressive DVD player
Most people start their review listing all the specs and data on the Xbox. Let's face it, if the system doesn't have good games with good playability, it will be a dud.
I have been a video game addict ever since middle school (ugh 15 years ago!)...

Pros: Large storage capacity for saved games. Cons: Remote needed for DVD viewing.
I like the x box because it is a computer made for games and musick. the 20 gig harddrive, and central pentium, makes that all apparant. Also with little to no knowledge of computer related things i successfully connected min, along with a gamecube, ...

Pros: Cool controller, great games, hard drive Cons: long loading times
I must admit, I was hazy about the whole video game craze from November into December. But now, as of December 25, 2001, I own an Xbox. So yes, This is one of the rare reviews written by someone that actually owns the product. I just have to give the...

Pros: Custom soundtrack, hard drive, specs, halo, PGR, graphics, better than PS2. Cons: $30 for DVD, not all games work with soundtracks, no Grand Theft Auto 3.
I would highly suggest the XBOX over the Playstation 2 because it has way better specs, such as audio channels(XBOX-256, PS2-16), it has a built in huge hard drive so you do not need to buy any memory cards. You can record your own CDs to the hard drive...

Pros: Most powerful console by far. Cons: Ugliest console by far, no software futures, platform games in a box.
There lies a bowl of warm crap your dog just pooped. You think the bowl is not impressive looking enough, so you changed to a very nice, ivory bowl carved out by hands of a master. So there you have it, an ivory bowl with a pile of warm crap. The result?...

Pros: Excellent graphics, speed, and load time for a game console Cons: System is a little bigger than other consoles
Don't buy an XBOX if:
1. You don't enjoy the most outstanding graphics on a game console available currently.
2. You really enjoy waiting at least 30 seconds to a solid minute for games to load.
3. You enjoy game consoles that have...

Pros: Good graphics.. Cons: Not impressive.. games did not impress me.
I recently had the chance to attend the E3 expo where the X-box was "displayed". The reason why I put the word displayed in quotes is because Microsoft had areas where you could play with the system yet it was hidden and you couldn't see it at all....

Pros: Graphics and sound are awesome, good sized hard disk, controller is easy to use. Cons: Big and makes noise when it is running, not as many XBox games as PS2.
For years I have purposefully stayed clear of consoles. I briefly played a Super NES system because it was given to me. After only a few hours of use I put it back in the box and gave it away when I moved. When I first heard of the XBox I was not...

Pros: Includes 6GB Hard Drive, nVidia Graphics Chip, DVD etc...... Cons: Waiting until Autumn, previewed games were not as good as expected
Microsoft's first serious games only solution claims to blow away the Sony Playstation2 and will be sold at the same launch price of $300. If the price is true then I think the X-Box will have a good chance of competing! The Saga Dreamcast is first...

Pros: The most powerful system ever created,HDD included, ethernet included. Cons: Uh well I'm sure I'll come up with something....NOPE
I really don't know what to say to someone whos still on the fence about purchasing an Xbox. But get your a$$ down from there and buy one! How could you possibly be thinking of buying any other system when the Xbox has it all. A Pentium III 733Mhz ...

Pros: High spec.... Cons: ...late release
I have no doubt that Bill G will produce a competent console, I'm quite sure he'll follow Sony's lead making a technically superior, well designed product, that will no doubt be essential for multi-console gamers. However PS2 will be so well established...

Pros: Hard disk, four controller ports, low amount of rear ports, breakaway cables Cons: heavy, needs dvd player kit
If you are looking for a great video game system, Microsoft Xbox is for you. With four controller ports for better multiplayer gameplay. Also no need to buy little tiny memory cards, that if the battery dies, or it isn't used loses its information....
