Pros: Hard Drive, Internet, Processor.. Cons: Game Selection..
Introduction
Possibly one of the most frequently insulted and under-minded consoles of the next generation, or any generation for that matter, the Xbox has gone through a lot of punishment from the gaming community. However, after...

Pros: More power, hard drive & ethernet (broadband), based on DirectX Cons: Add on costs may be necessary for things like S-Video and DVD playback
In my opinion (and I actually own one) Microsoft's Xbox is the best GAME CONSOLE on the market today. You will own one -- or at least something very similar to it eventually. It's too bad, it's not the only game console out there...

Pros: most poweful machine out, great titles in a variety of genres Cons: too many PS2 and Cube ports, console is huge
Back in 1994, when Sony announced to the world that it was releasing its first videogame console, industry experts and cynics had a ball.
"The console's doomed to fail," they said.
"Sony doesn't know videogames."
Well,...

Pros: Most powerful console, progressive scan DVD, built-in broadband ability Cons: Games? Lack of exclusive must have title, Price
After much hype, Microsoft has finally unleashed the XBox: the biggest, baddest console ever. I finally got to log in enough time with my brother's XBox to figure out if I wanted to get it or the PS2. And after trying to convince myself otherwise, I am...

Pros: A console computer that is a gaming system and a CD/DVD player, all for $200. Cons: Not many game titles. Default controller too clunky. DVD is software-based.
Oh, how the gaming industry has changed. Gone are the days of Pong and Space Invaders, where the platform of choice was Atari and that being nothing more than a bread board with some transistors, capacitors and resistors. Gone are the days when no one...

Pros: Power results in the finest of graphical and sound capabilities. Splinter Cell, Halo. Cons: I miss my belly button. Few exclusive titles.
Intro-
Talk about eating your own words. The XBox thrasher, not only giving the Microsoft creation 5 stars, but buying the system just 5 hours ago. My basic overview on the XBox has always been harsh compared to the other two next gen...

Pros: It looks good, really good. I was surprised. Some great launch titles. Cons: Complaints of bulky controller was about all I heard.
Yes, it's true. I actually got my hands on an XBox. The latest offering in the console wars. Microsoft has fired an opening shot across the bow of Sony and Nintendo with the Nov 15th release of this system.
Now, don't misunderstand me....

Pros: Tons of great games just released, Xbox Live, Hard Drive, better DVD than PS2 Cons: lower installed base compared with PS2
This topic has been beaten to death, so I want to focus on several topics that may help people decide between the Xbox and the PS2.

Just over 6 years ago Microsoft entered the quagmire that is the console wars with the Microsoft X-Box. It's not the innovative technological behemoth it was when it raged onto the scene, but there is still a lot of fun to be had. Here is my review - ...

Pros: awesome hardware stats; so many people building for it Cons: don't you just want to hate microsoft?
I am of the impression that Xbox is going to be the truly revolutionary gaming system that PSX2 set out to be. Yeah, so I am one of Microsoft's demonic minions, working with no other tool than Com+ and Win2k. I sort of landed on it, but please believe ...
