Pros: Unbelievable graphics and sound, internal HD, great 3rd party support. Cons: Microsoft is new to the console wars, button placement on controller.
I often wonder why reviewers are so quick to put their two cents in on a product before it has even been released. I notice this on Amazon.com and I see it here on Epinions as well. I was looking over the Xbox reviews and of what I saw, hardly anyone...

Pros: Graphics, Hard Drive, 4 Controller ports, Future potential! Cons: Quantity of games
Xbox the future of gaming is here! First off let me say I got my Xbox in November so I have had some time to play with it. I want to share my feelings and observations with you from a technical standpoint and a gamer’s standpoint.
Technical...

Pros: Fast, attractive, well supported Cons: Where's the heart
Okay. My roommate bought a stacked xbox the day it came out. He infested a large amount of money reserving every extra little toy he could and got it all at once, a stack of ten games, four controllers, the whole shebang. The next weekend, my best...

Pros: nVidia graphics, 4-controller ports, big enough to fit a body into, huge fan for cooling Cons: Pentium processor, Dreamcast looking controllers, needs a huge fan for cooling, DVD-playback (extra cost)
Note: This review is pure speculation, although I base all my opinions on solid fact, another fact is the console has not yet been released. However, I am giving reasons why the Microsoft Xbox will be worth waiting for or not.

Pros: Powerful; internal harddrive; HALO; Broadband support. Cons: Lack of impressive games; awkward controller; expensive.
Seeing as I reviewed PS2 and Gamecube, I figured I may as well weigh in on the XBox, having got some good playing time under my belt and a few strong feelings about it.
Honestly, I don't have the best feelings about XBox. It's not merely that...

Pros: Amazingly powerfull! Cons: It is not out yet, so I can't really review it!
As anyone who had read my Gamecube review knows, it really annoys me when people write reviews of products that don’t even have an official release date.
Everyone that I talk to about games thinks it will be a tough battle between Sony, and...

Pros: Killer graphics, exciting games, DVD/Ethernet/733MHz Processor Cons: If you don't pre-order, you may be kept waiting!
Yesterday was the first day that the X-Box is available to pre-order. Our local EBX and gamestop.com stores were out by the time we got there, and online merchants are selling out almost as quick. You had better hurry!
Price: The Xbox...

Pros: The most powerful console game system to come out this year. Cons: It's from Microsoft... the devil of the electronics market.
There is no god… (painful sob)
Videogaming has gone a long way. After the videogame crash in the 1980s, the death of the Atari consoles, Nintendo, former playing card and instant rice company) brought back the pack with the...

Pros: standardized pc-powerhouse Cons: standardized pc
In today's Console wars, we have witnessed the defeat of the Dreamcast by Sony, who previously vanquished former partner in crime Nintendo. However, I have been thoroughly anti-amazed by the PS2 (I know anti-amazed is not a real word, but then the PS2...

Pros: Best hardware in a console, nice launch titles, looks cool Cons: Heavy (both weight and price), small library of games, Microsoft has to win gamers over
Microsoft's first outing into the world of console gaming has finally hit storeshelves. Microsoft is reporting the launch of the XBox to be the most successful console launch ever, despite the fact Nintendo is claiming pretty much the same thing for...

Pros: Specs, design Cons: The WAIT
I cannot wait for this machine to come out. This looks to be truly the ultimate in realistic gaming that we have seen so far. I currently own a Nintendo 64 and a Sony Playstation, and I would gladly trade all of those in, even with their very fun games...

Pros: Graphics, controls, games, DVD play Cons: Multiplayer not online yet.
I thought I would try to review this product from a different point of view. My son is 13 and a game nut, he has owned and mastered the Play Station, PS2, Ninendos and practically every PC game ever made. We went to several stores and demonstrated the...

Pros: Powerful system, Great games, Good controller, and Excellent graphics, sound and game play. Cons: Price, Big and Heavy console, DVD-playback kit has to be purchased separately
As everyone knows one of the hottest items this year for Christmas was the Xbox. I was lucky enough to get one for Christmas. It took me about 5 minutes to open the box and start reading how to hook up this impressive console. I have heard all of the...

Pros: Strong showing, well designed system, eye-popping graphics. Cons: Microsoft's negative image with many people, the lead-in time for the PS2 over the XBox.
I have seen the future, and it is well rendered.
On March 29, 2001, I got to see the XBox and the XBox dev kits in action in a demonstration at my college. The demonstration showed several of the dynamic realtime effects that the XBox is...

Pros: We won't know till we get there. Cons: We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Microsoft wanting to get into consoles was no surprise to me. When I heard about the X-box, rather than saying "WTF are they doing?", I said "WTF took them so long?" I knew it was only a matter of time before Microsoft got their...
