Pros: The new black look is cool. Cons: The added features are not really that impressive.

Pros: Enjoyable high quality gameplay Cons: A bit noisy (the fans that is)
Please note this review is written from a UK residents perspective so the price range may seem alien to US or other country's asking price for the console. Yet another house move meant that I needed some careful rewarding, the choice of my reward was ...
Pros: Black, 120GB HDD, Multi-language features. Headphones are ideal for late-night gaming. Cons: Loud fan, hot exhaust, bulky power-supply, few black accessories, no 2nd controller, no battery.

Pros: Achievements, 360 Dashboard, game selection, streaming media features, XBox LIVE. Cons: Failure rates, low quality bundled headset, marketplace points system.
I was very skeptical about the XBox 360. I was a Wii adopter on day 1. I bought a PS3 in the summer of 07. Finally, I broke down and got a 360 in February. I had held off because of the massive failure rate Microsoft was having with the consoles, but I ...
Pros: HDMI, black finish, 120gb hard drive, great games, 1080p Cons: Price, no built-in HD DVD, no wireless.
I'd started with the original xbox 360 premium that I'd gotten a hold of via a very interesting story that I won't get into, but a couple weeks later, the elite was released, so I claimed to have the "Red Ring Of Death" that even to this die I think may ...

Pros: Fun, entertaining. Cons: Breaks down a little too often due to lack of heat sink.

Pros: Looks like it finally might be the all in one living room solution. Cons: can't play many video formats from files unless media center streaming.yawn.
I have had a USA Elite since its release in April, and now, since last Friday, a European one. I was just too curious to wait. The USA model is as hot and loud as all the others from the past three years. In fact the power supply actually melted after ...
Pros: New look, slightly increased specs, larger hard drive Cons: price

Originaly started with the Xbox 360 Premium gaming console, which had the built in 20Gb hard drive. My initial thoughts weren't too high for this system, because I was supposed to have a 20Gb Hd, and the usable space was only 13gb. Another thing I ...

Pros: Huge hard drive, black color, game library, lots of demos Cons: Louder than comparable systems, the worry of overheating, price of some arcade games
If you are considering buying an Xbox 360, I highly recommend getting your hands on an Elite! I've heard a lot of people say that a 20gb hard drive (available on non-Elite and non-Core systems) to be plenty big. This is only true if you have no intention ...

Pros: Quality system, controller and headset and hdmi cable come standard- sharp looking! Cons: The kit to transfer hard drive contents has to be ordered, long wait.
My son's 2007 model Xbox 360 red ringed for the last time a few days before Easter. Given thehours of play that he got out of it, I was not against purchasing a newer, better model of the system. We ordered from Amazon and of course, RAVE reviews for ...
Finally, a 360 that looks good in an a/v rack by jondotcom ,Jul 02 '07
Pros: HDMI, Black color matches premium a/v components, quieter than previous 360 Cons: Price.
My last 360 died after 6 months, so I traded up to the elite. I had been disappointed in the white color choice so Black really hit the spot. I also previously had some issues with using VGA on my DLP tv that I never worked the kinks out of. On my Elite, the HDMI works perfectly and setup automatically configured to my TV's resolution. The elite is noticeably quieter than my last 360 as well.
The first elite had a broken faceplate, and the second had a funky power button (had to press very hard). Maybe these faceplates are getting sourced from somewhere that doesn't have their act together. I put on an aftermarket faceplate and the power button now works great.
I hope Microsoft comes out with a crystal green halo edition console..... I would trade in a second for that.
Pros: nice case, black is always cool, good CPU. Makes a good heater. Cons: poor GPU, overheats,no highdef drive, locks up.overpriced, poor customer service
I bought the X360 elite to replace my failing premium console, and guess what. Same issues. Overheats faster than a Ford, games lock up more than not. I believe I pretty much just paid 430 bucks for a machine that simply has a HDMI(which doesn't activate my 1080i interface on my TV). I am really disappointed, and this time I am not giving Microsoft another chance. This is IT! The only good thing about this product is the new case. The processor is fast, but the GPU is crap. Slow rendering, worse than my notebook(literally my notebook can run Oblivion better). The colors are not very sharp. Nor the contrast.
Simply put invest the money something else this is not worth it at all. do the math. 430 elite+200 bucks hddvd drive=630 bucks
600 Ps3 top model includes BD drive sharper graphics, full BW compatibility, and true High-Def.
Elite (Is it worth your money?) by nattykoi ,Nov 02 '07
Pros: with the outstanding features. Cons: expensive
I have the Elite for like 3 months. For me, it is worth my money with HDMI, 120GB and new color that out standing. I love the color. It looks so classic.
with 120GB I have more space to save my games. You can also have more space to download demo(games, movies), video file, and games.
with HDMI you can hook up with your 1080p television with a very clean beautiful picture.
I also like the system because it is more quiet than the core and pro system that I bought in March and got 3-red ring.
Since I bought this one and use it for awhile. I never got any problem like red ring or anything.
I use my console to watch movie also. So, I open the console sometimes overnight. It never cost any problem.
XBOX 360 Elite just as defective as the rest of the line by hotfoot_144 ,Jan 26 '08
Pros: HDMI output made it easy to connect. Great, while it lasted. Cons: Console developed the "Red Ring of Death" 5 months after purchase.
I purchased the 360 Elite after waiting for the game system to have HDMI output. I bought it in October of 2007 and my family used it daily until today.
I mere 5 months from the date of purchase, the machine developed the "red ring of death" problem that is so typical of these machines. Three red lights have appeared on the display indicating "hardware fault".
The box is now "dead" for all intents and purposes. In a nut shell, it cost me 100 dollars a month for this machine.
Do I go and buy another one? I seriously doubt it.
Pros: NO pros...defective equipment Cons: Will not provide a reliable gaming expierence
I purchased the xbox 360 brand new in October 2007, now in February 2008 it is broken, the disk reader will not work and will not play any games. I spent almost $600.00 for the system, an extra controller and a game. It doesn't work after 4 months of mild use! What a piece of junk. Save yourself the time & aggravation... purchase something else.
Everything you expect in a wireless joystick by mightyjoemc ,Jun 27 '06
Pros: Wireless, pricing, battery life, feel & look of joystick. Cons: None so far.
I've had two of these now for at least half a year. So far I never replaced the batteries. The ease of setting up the PC to use two Rumblepads was pretty easy too. Both sensors sit about 15 feet away from the couch and the flashing lights on them letting you know it receiving a signal when you pick it up and start using it is clearly visible.
I've used these for many different 'old school' game emulators and the number of buttons was always more than enough to duplicate the feel of any console system joystick.
the best purchase i ever made by apuri ,Mar 06 '07
Pros: minimal delay. great touch feel...nice grip Cons: none.its a great product.
i dont have a game console, so i am pretty much a pc gamer. i have broken about 3 keyboards just playing nfl and fifa and other adventure games. So, finally i went out on research for a good gamepad for pc and found this product at circuit city. It comes in both wired and wireless versions. I decided to try the wireless so i can plug my computer to the tv and see if the this product does its job.
From the first minute i simply loved it. The rumblepad has a great vibration effect, there is no delay and controls are very smooth and effective. i have owned this product for about 4 months now... have replaced the batteries (2 AA batteries) once and have been very very pleased with this product. Highly highly recommended for pc gamers.
Very high quality with good button arrangement makes this a must buy for your computer or laptop.I play tony hawk on my computer and it works like a charm.
