Pros: Cool settings, IT VIBRATES! clear sound at certain ranges Cons: Not good reception of weather station in my area, range less than 18 miles.
I love radios. I think that it is the coolest thing in the world that you can talk to people far away, for free! The Midland GXT600 two way radios are very excellent radios. I used these radios just the other day when a friend of mine and I were ...

Pros: I really want to find some, but for big city use just can't find one. Cons: I am an OLD "big kid" at heart. Got to have every gadget.Except this one.

fun to use & decent range

Pros: lots of features, long battery life, can talk far Cons: takes some time to learn to operate the features
I really like the GXT600 that i have. They have tons of features that make it fun. The reception of these is pretty good too. the 18 miles that you can talk is misleading but you can talk several miles in the right conditions. Me & my girlfriend used these at starved rock state park and they worked excellent.I highly reccomend these radios but make sure you get them with the rechargeable batteries. These are great though for state parks, sporting events, even 2 cars traveling together. Good luck on your purchase.
