Pros: A nice children friendly version of Grand Theft Auto, slick cars, XBOX live content. Cons: Stupid voice-overs and soundtrack, bad two player option,
I'm not very fond of any kind of driving games. I just can't see the thrill in racing. But then my brother got Midtown Madness 3 for his birthday, and I found myself playing the game. I was in a bad mood at the time, (don't ask me why ;) ) and then I ...
Pros: Very large cities to explore and traverse, nice lighting effects, Live features exceed shelf life Cons: Godawful voice talents, heavy aliased graphics, car controls could be better, lame missions
I'd like to begin by saying that I am no avid Midtown Madness goon. This is mainly because I ...
Pros: Online gameplay, car variety, lots of game modes online. Cons: Single player sucks, custom soundtrack doesn't work properly.
I have been playing the Midtown Madness series ever since the first one came out, I remember the good old days cruising through Chi-town in the Panoz Roadster in Midtown Madness. Then my school's computer lab installed Midtown ...
The Midtown Madness 3 for Xbox series has always been one of my favorites. I first played this game at my boyfriends house and totally loved it! I still play it all the time!
The game has two cites, Washington D.C. and Paris! HA ha its of if you have no idea what i'm talking about. So i will do my best to explain it to you! These aren't like the cities on any racing game. These cities are JUMBO! I mean they show almost every inch of the real cities. It's really like you are driving in real life! I have been to both to Paris and D.C. and now that I've played the game its like i am reliving the trips. Ha ha The cars on the game are awesome!
You have to over come missions to unlock cars. You can get up to like 30 of them! It's a way super fun game! Try it out!
Midtown Madness 3 for Xbox by mousie_dvl ,Dec 05 '03
Pros: Good graphics, good controls, good cars Cons: Not many cars at start, a bit confusing.
When I first received Midtown Madness 3, I was very excited to use it, and my excitement did not die down as I played the game. One hard thing is getting to the car selection, and I had to have my younger brother help me out with this. If you've ever played the game on the computer, you know you've just got to have it for Xbox. Midtown Madness is a great way for me to get out any energy I have without destroying actual stuff, but I do wish there was more selection in the cars before you unlocked anything. My younger brothers love this game too, and challenge each other to see who can knock down the most. The only thing they seem to have problems with is figuring out how to unlock things, which seems to be a bit complicated.
Fun but unrealistic (sometimes) by theyousef ,Nov 28 '04
Pros: Real interesting storyline,
Lots of unlockables,
Loads of fun Cons: Cars don't follow the laws of physics sometimes,
Not enough maps
If you came looking for an extremely fun game with some really original missions and levels then this is the game for you. I doubt you will be bored while playing this because of the amazingly unique tasks that you have to perform - for a racing game that is.
It's also got more unlockables than many successful games before it (just wait until you get the corvette) and some of the cars you can drive are a real challenge (you get to drive limousines, trucks and buses).
Probably one of its disadvantages is the fact that there are only two maps to race on. They are quite big but it would have helped if there were a few more cities to choose in the multi-player mode.
Prepare for wide-open racing in two incredibly realistic cities -- more than 30 vehicles and 14 different racing careers to choose from Speed your way...More at Amazon Marketplace
