Pros: Miele quality and durability, great suction, excellent filtration Cons: Other than trying to talk my husband into buying an $800 vacuum cleaner? None.
After owning the Miele Cat & Dog Plus vacuum while living in Europe, I was pretty well set on finding another Miele when we got back to the States. Unfortunately, I'd become accustomed to the high-end of the Miele product spectrum, and when I replaced ...
Pros: Six power levels, ease of handling, close to the ground for under-furniture cleaning. Cons: Although sturdier than S300, also means it's more difficult to click & adjust (especially wand).
I almost wept and held a funeral service for my White Star when it bit the dust--in the figurative sense. Of course, as I outlined in my epinion of it in 2002, Mi

Pros: Lightweight, extremely powerful, well constructed Cons: Short cord, flickering fluorescent headlight in upgraded powerhead.
I purchased the Miele Solaris at the beginning of August 2006. I am a real estate agent, and I was first introduced to the miracle of Miele vacuums by some clients of mine whose Miele I got to test drive. Compared to the substantial upright Hoover ...
Pros: Design, power, warranty, quiet, uses bags (who wants dirt in their face?), will last. Cons: Price tag, takes work to use, bags and HEPA filter are pricey to replace.
This vacuum has clever design, power, performance, and is whisper quiet. Not everyone wants a canister, but if you want suction power that will last, it's the only way to go. Uprights lose suction no matter what, including Dyson. It's swiveling hose ...
Pros: Quiet, adjustable suction power, lightweight, good build Cons: does not come with a powerhead carpet attachment, a little expensive
I just got the solaris a week ago and I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I have had a chance to use some top of the line vacuums before the solaris (filter queen, kirby) but the solaris takes the cake.
Pros: Soft 360 degree swivel rubber wheels perfect for Wood floors. It is powerful and quiet. Cons: I can not think of any cons about this vacuum. I recommend it to anyone.
I love it so much - I am letting my mother buy it from me - and buying another Miele. I bought this product because of the ease of use - the quality - the style and all the features. It has a great telescopic wand, easy in and ...
Pros: Best cleaning vacuum I've ever used; well made. Cons: The dust bags fill up fast (good deals for them on eBay).
I just bought this Miele two days ago and love it a lot. The electric-powered carpet brush works extremely well, as does the parquet floor tool (good for any non-wood bare floors, too). My rugs were very dirty, so it took a couple of complete rounds to ...
Pros: Gets all the dirt, cat hair. Easy to maneuver. Attachments galore! Cons: Expensive. telescopic wand design not as comfortable for short people as I thought.
The lightness of this model is deceptive. This little vacuum has big power. We had been using an inexpensive (read: cheap) upright that we purchased at CostCo years ago. With two cats and living on a horse farm, the floors really needed a more ...
Pros: See the review body. Cons: See the review body.
PROS: - It is extremely quiet. In fact, you can't even hear the person vacuuming in the other room. - The vacuum canister moves around on the floor very nicely. - I like the way the handle can be made shorter and longer. Even though I'm 6'4", the ...
Pros: Quiet, efficient, well designed, especially with the Hepa filter. Cons: A trigger on the handle to quickly reduce air flow would have been handy.
I owned a Miele for 10 years, using my 20 year old Hoover on the carpets, because it had a power beater brush and my Miele didn't. Finally I realized the rugs needed to be cleaner, and the Hoover was so noisy and heavy and dirty I hated to use it. I ...
Pros: Easy to use, durable, cleans really well. Cons: None
After researching several popular brands, my husband and I decided that the Solaris was the vacuum for us. The electric wire runs inside the hose instead of out. This makes it easy to use for changing attachments; there is no wire to have to fuss with ...
Pros: Quiet, easy to move, powerful, attachments Cons: None.
Great value. Having a new home with both wood floors and carpeting, was not happy with upright performance in the past for the dual areas.
This gem does it all..floors, carpets, car, nooks and crannies! The power attachments are extremely versatile changing from hardwood to carpet with the simple flick of a switch on the hose.
This is also the 1st vacuum that the dog does not run to another floor when I turn it on.
Pros: Quiet motor, hepa filtration, good design and compact shape. Cons: Price.
Miele S514 Red purchase about a year ago. This model is slightly cheaper because it is assembled in China, but overall quality is excellent. Used mainly for carpets in the bedrooms, so the power head was necessary, and works well. Construction quality and design is what you pay for. Other vacuums will clean as well for awhile, then have to be replaced or begin to not clean as well. Quiet motor and excellent suction stands out over other brands. Buy at 20% off from Bed Bath and Beyond.
Pros: Portability, speed, effectiveness, everything! Cons: Can't think of any!
I LOVE my Medela Pump-n-Style. Before I had my daughter and was looking into pumps, I only heard about how painful pumping was, what an inconvenience, etc. This pump was never painful, not even from the first session. I can pump on both sides at one time and can express all my milk in about 15 minutes. I can also pump in the car with the optional car adapter, which has come in handy many times. It is truly worth every single penny for any pumping mother, especially for those who work full time. I 100% recommend this pump!
Pros: Quiet motor. Picks up pet hair easily and quickly. Cons: Expensive, but worth every dollar!!
I have 2 furry pets and three kids!! This vacuum cleaner makes it easy for me to vacuum every day. It always works, it is always quiet, and it makes vacuuming quick and easy. I have had this vacuum for over 5 years, and I love it! When it is time to buy another vacuum, I will get another Miele!
