Pros: Lightweight, easy-to-use, powerful, many settings, great filtration Cons: Expensive! Power brush must be purchased separately.
Our Hoover upright finally got on my nerves in my back (see ht

Id stopped vacuuming very regularly because the Hoover was just too heavy and awkward. My back hurt ...
Pros: Very compact, great suction, great design, good quality, very capable. Cons: Expensive price, uses a bag, tools fall off tube
Being the owner of two Sebo vacuums it is often difficult to pin point the differences between the two premium German companies Miele and Sebo, even though it is clear that Miele have recognised the K series by Sebo with their own version of a compact ...
Pros: Lightweight, rather quiet, good tools, reliable service record, tons of satisfied customers Cons: Expensive, power cord too short, attachments are expensive, no HEPA filter (can be purchased later)

Pros: Very very very light, small, easy to manuver, powerful, quiet. Cons: Needs longer cord, a little pricey
Our new house is all hardwood and stone floors, with a few runners and this is the perfect vacuum for us. With three messy birds, I pull this out often to pick behind them. Its easier and way faster than dealing with our Rhomba! I've always had ...
Pros: Lightweight, great suction, easy to maneuver Cons: None!
This is the best vacuum, hands down, that I have ever had. I've owned almost every brand imaginable and this is the best. I got tired of replacing my vaccuum every 2-3 years, after it started to lose suction, so I decided to go for the Miele after ...
Pros: Strong suction, light weight, functional details, seven year warranty. Cons: 20 foot cord be longer.
Just got home from the store with my new S4210 Antares. It took less than 5 minuets to get it out of the box (which comes with a great carrying handle)get rid of the trash, and put it together. It is so much more quieter than I was expecting. I choose ...
Pros: ULTRA-LIGHT! Beautiful! Powerful! Ultra-Useful! Cons: Expensive to add necessary accessories if you like the color. Electrobrush is battery powered
Who would have thought such a powerhouse of a vacuum could be sooo cute, so tiny and so light? Okay, I admit I'm a "beauty freak" but it's justified because if the vacuum is so light and pretty I actually *like* to take it out of the closet, I'm ...
Pros: Lightweight, rather quiet, good tools, reliable service record, tons of satisfied customers Cons: Bag fills up quickly

Yes, there really is a better vacuum out there. by atlantashopper ,Oct 28 '06
Pros: Quiet, Quiet, Quiet;
Suction, Suction,Suction;
Wood floor to carpet equally well;
Long attachments Cons: Turbo plus attachment head had to be bought, I felt, to clean carpets well.
Six months ago, I brought home a Miele Carina canister vacuum. I waited to write a review until I felt I had used the vacuum enough to find any kinks. None found. I am as happy with this purchase today as I was when I bought it.
I had never used a canister before and was unsure if I would transition well. No problem there either.
The filters and bags are easy to change. The bags are so nice and thick, it is hard to imagine any dirt being blown back out.
Durability I expect to be excellent.It appears to be very well made. However, since I have only had it six months it is impossible to be certain.
Dog hair does get piled up around the bristles of the standard head. There is another head you can buy that has rubber bristles. That might work better
When you bring the vacuum home, plan on spending 30 minutes or so learning how it works and fits together. It is German and a bit over engineered, but once I figured all that out, it is one of the reasons I like this machine.
Pros: Light, quiet, easy to use and store. Cons: I recommend the additional purchase of the power driven Brush Head.
Wow!!! I love the little Miele Carina I bought after my WindTunnel and Kenmore each broke down within a year of purchase. This little guy is light and easy to handle. I have a very bad back and find it easy to use. It's also very quiet. My husband works at night, and he doesn't wake when I vacuum. We have lots of wood and ceramic floors, so the air-driven brush head works well. For thorough cleaning of carpets and rugs, I would suggest purchasing the SAB100-3 Accu Nova Electro Brush as well. It will cost you another $200-$300, but since this cleaner has already lasted longer that any other vacuum I've owned, I feel it's well worth the investment. This unit is made well and I expect it to last alot longer than any of my other vacuums.
Pros: lots of suction
quite
durable
compact and lite Cons: cant find any!!
You will not be disapointed with this vacuum. I was trying to decide between this vacuum and the dyson upright witch to me felt cheaply built. Boy, am I glade with my decision! I have mostly hardwood and ceramic floors and this machine is excellent. Spend a little extra money on the miele and you wont be dissapointed.
Pros: Awesome Vacuum.. Powerful.. Beautiful .. and so well made. Cons: if you have lots of rugs... get the turbo brush
I bought mine 1 year ago.. Everytime I use it.. I think of how I have to leave a review for this awesome vacuum.
It's super powerful.. beautiful.. It is so well made. It's the Mercedes of Vacuums.. I know it's hard to spend this kind of money on a vacuum.. but you will be so glad you did.. and never regret it.. The bags are a little small.. but they are inexpensive. If you have a big house.. I would definitely recommend the larger Mieles.. I have all hardwood floors with some area rugs.. the attatchments that come with it are fine for me.. If you have wall to wall carpeting.. or lots of heavy rugs.. youwill need the turbo brush.. I'm so glad I spent the money on my vacuum..
Pros: Lightweight, functional, quiet, clean (bagged), rolls well, high quality Cons: Powercord is a bit short. I have to order bags online.
I have a 1000 sq foot cottage on Oahu, with all hard floors and several area rugs. This is the perfect vacuum for my needs, and I am so happy to finally have something that actually picks up dirt (and hair) from the floor, instead of spitting it all over the place.
I bought the basic model...if you have lots of rugs or carpeting, consider getting the motorized head, too.
I have not yet used it in my car, but don't expect anything less than stellar performance.
Great on my baseboards and blinds, with included attachment. I have cleaned one chair, too, and that was great.
Buy it!! I wish I would have stopped buying $150 uprights along time ago. This is much much much lighter, and actually works.
Incidentally, it's so quiet I vacuum while my 8-month-old sleeps...never makes a peep.
I bought it from centralvacuums.com...free shipping to Hawaii!
Pros: super suction, quiet, and light, optional hepa filter Cons: it does not come with a power carpet attachment that costs extra
I grew up with an electrolux, they were big, heavy but boy could they do the job, so when it came time for my husband and I to purchase a new vacuum, we thought we would do our research, but end up with an electrolux.
Turns out that the Meile for us is a much better vac, we have mostly hard woods with two area rugs. It's light, quiet and at $350.00 a really solid machine. The only draw back is at that price you do not get the power rug attachment, (which I did order) or the Hepa filter. so in total I spent what I thought was a lot; $650.00.
Now I have the machine maybe I really did not need the extras and could have saved a little cash. So if you don't need the extras you might find that the standard set up will work for you, even if you have a few rugs.
Pros: My little "sports car" vacuum cleaner! Cons: None than I can think of!
Over a half a year ago, I purchase 2 Miele vacuum cleaners--The S2410 Capella for my home with hardwood floors and the S5580 Aquarius for my apartment with tile and medium pile wall to wall carpeting.
I am here to second "Bigskeptic"'s review of the S2410 Capella. This is a sweet little machine that gets the job done. In addition to all that was mentioned, the machine is very quiet compared to other vacuum cleaners I have used.
This machine is easier to use than I expected and it performs as well if not a bit better than I had hoped it would.
