Pros: European, compact design Cons: Inefficient, long dry cycle, confusing controls, stratospheric price
For the amount of money you have to cough up for the "Mercedes Benz" of home dryers, Miele fails to deliver a half-decent product.
Despite all the bells and whistles, it takes over two and a half hours to dry two queen size sheets and two bath towels -- even with the so-called "turbo" switched on. The dry cycle is longer than even the cheapest dryers on the market. Even after the painfully long dry cycle, your clothes still comes out WET, TWISTED, and WRINKLED. Everything must be dried twice. But drying a load twice is impossible due to the shoddy moisture sensor and the longest you can set a timed dry is 30 minutes.
The machine is loud and it is an annoying ordeal to program the setting you want. Save your money and buy a faster, more efficient dryer. With all the hours you'll save, you can spend more time with your family.
