Enter the Land of the Beast

by Bryan_Carey Bryan_Carey is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Aug 21 '02
Pros: The Price is Very Low
Cons: Everything else
Hello, fellow Epinionators! This is my second entry in a six- part series, titled “For the Love of Bad Brew”. I have selected six horrible malt beverages for the purpose of this solo write- off, which I will present, one miserable brew at a time, over...

Super- Cheap College Swill

by Bryan_Carey Bryan_Carey is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Apr 16 '00
Pros: Dirt Cheap Price
Cons: Everything Else
When I decided to rate Milwaukee's Best, I found myself reminiscing to my days as a college student. Beer was a regular part of life back then and, more often than not, the beer of choice was Milwaukee's Best. And for one undeniable reason:...

Beast Light?

by HawgWyld Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Nov 18 '00
Pros: Cheap, low in calories
Cons: Not much flavor to it -- not the brew for "beer fans" to buy
Ah, Milwaukee's Best -- the king of cheap beers. This stuff, of course, is produced by Miller, which markets Miller Lite, a very mediocre light beer. Milwaukee's Best is no better, really.

Milwaukee's Best has long been associated with college...

Release the beast!

by autoamerican , Jul 21 '07
Pros: A pleasant flavor & good finish make this a quality "cheap beer"
Cons: This is not a "beer drinker's" beer, don't expect it to be
I'd hate to say it, but I'm not much of a beer snob. I do have a palate much more attuned to liquors & distilled spirits, but when it comes to beer, I just pour it down. My cerveza of choice is usually Milwaukee's Best Light. In fact, I'm sipping on ...

The Lexiphiliac W/O Allows Natch To Tell His Drunken Tale of....Drunkeness...

by natch , Jan 10 '02
Pros: what?
Cons: huh?
Welcome ladies and gentlemen (and complete assholes) to the heart-felt, spirit-warming, and yet somehow gut-wrenching story of a young 17-year-old boy and his encounters will alcohol. Specifically, Milwaukee's Best. Why would this rambunctious...

It Can LIGHT Up Your Life

by KevinEC , Sep 11 '00
Pros: Inexpensive, Great taste, and not very filling
Cons: The beer has a slight aftertaste.
As someone who loves the taste of a great beer, I consider my self to be somewhat of a connoisseur on the subject. From dark beer to the lightest of light, I've tasted many. I must say that Milwaukee's Best Light is among the best.

Why...

Best Buzz in Town!

by BadBob , Jan 17 '00
Pros: Cheap
Cons: First swallers go down hard.
Whenever BadBob is inkling for a brew, I hop inta my pickup and head down to Shirley's Six Pack and Extoxic Dancers Club. Believe me when i say I don't relly look at these extoxic babes dancin' round, all I know is that they are beautyful and the brew is...

Pros: Cheap, delicious, and refreshing
Cons: None
Milwaukee’s Best

Unpretentious, solid, quality beer. "What?" you say. I’ll say it again: Unpretentious, solid, quality beer.

There is no need to go any further than Milwaukee’s Best, if your object is to drink typical,...

If you wannt to "tie one on" for cheap....

by BlackBear Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Dec 19 '00
Pros: Gets you drunk super fast
Cons: CAn make you sick, has a "sneak attack" hit
...then this is the brew to go with. Or rather, it used to be. Back in my wilder days, I would throw BYOB parties that drew so many people that eventually I got together with a couple friends of mine so we could do it at the local Sailing Club in order...

I'm sure better things have come out of Milwaukee

by HawgWyld Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jul 16 '00
Pros: Cheap and better than most in price range
Cons: It's just not that good.
Let me start out by stating that Milwaukee's Best isn't that bad. Some people defend this brew feverishly, for whatever reason, and I can respect that.

What amuses me the most about Milwaukee's Best (a.k.a. The Beast) is the can. The can...

Unleash the Beast!

by healdkw , Dec 23 '99
Pros: Really cheap
Cons: No flavor
There are some out there who are “too good” for Beast. But in reality Milwaukee’s Best has its place amongst the beers of the world. First and foremost it is cheap, and a great value. Let’s think about this for a second. For sometimes as little as $7...

The Tale of the Beast

by vania , Jan 31 '01
Pros: Cheap cheap cheap!
Cons: Tastes cheap cheap cheap!
For anyone who may have read my previous homage to PBR, you already know that I am not opposed to cheap beer. Let's get that out of the way first of all. The most expensive beer I ever buy is Amstel Light (and even then only on payday), and that...

Window to sweet, sweet oblivion: Part Two

by snut_rucket , Aug 20 '00
Pros: cheap
Cons: cheap
Imagine you are an outcast teenager again. Pimply faced. Pasty colored flesh that smells of SPF 45 Coppertone for Kids. $5 in your pocket that Momma gave you to buy pizza, milk, and a Little Debbie Nutty Bar for lunch in the cafeteria. The pizza is...

This Beer is Horrible . . . And I Love It Anyway

by sportsweek , May 28 '00
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Taste, quality
If you've read any of my previous epinions on beer you know that I am a lover a fine hand-crafted beer. Today my refrigerator stays stocked with Sam Adams, Red Hook, Pete's, and Weeping Radish but there was a time when my refrigerator was stocked...

It Is What It Is...Respect It

by IBC , Dec 22 '99
Pros: cheap, not painful to drink
Cons: not much taste, can give you a bad hangover
To know it is to love it. The Beast, The Myth, The Legend. As much as I am sure someone will try, there is no way to even begin analyzing this beer on a "high-brow" level. I know that someone will attempt to discuss the quality of its hops...
