Pros: Small size, easy to use, inexpensive, adjustable coverage area, durable. Cons: Some might consider the light a bit too dim for their needs.
Flashlights are something that most people take for granted until you go to reach for one in an emergency. Then you have to pray that the batteries are still working until the lights come back on or you figure out which circuit you...
Almost everytime someone needs a flashlight to find their way out of the dark they do not have one. A solution to this is to find a flashlight that is small enough to carry with you at all times. A larger 2, 3, 4, or even 5 C or D cell flash light will...
Pros: Tough as nails body, focusable beam, good battery life Cons: Turning the light on and off changes the beam focus, the bulb burns out easily
I've had Mini-Maglites in just about every "go-bag" I've ever put together. They're easy to maintain, tough as nails, and last a good amount of time on a pair of AA batteries.
On the other hand, the bulbs break or burn out pretty easily if you...
Pros: Its a Maglite! Durable, solid construction. Cons: Easy to screw off front(wrong end) when trying to change batteries.
I have had this flashlight for about 7 years now. At this rate I'll probably have it for another 7. Physical stuff: This flashlight measures in at just a tad over 6 inches and with the two AA batteries it is very light and easy to carry. ...
Pros: Very durable, small, bright light, lifetime guarantee, after sales support (!) Cons: Light bulbs wore off quickly
GoforMaglite
Two years ago, my third flashlight broke. I was tired of this, so I went for a Maglite, and I'm glad I did so.
All the other flashlights of my parents, brother and sister had have already broken, but this little flashlight...
Pros: Light, Compact, durable, low in price, but high in quality, and very handy Cons: None that I can think of!
I just today bought my 3rd AA cell maglite, and love it and as expected, works like my other three. I also own a 'D' cell maglite for when I am on duty with the police dept., but when I am off duty, I want a flashlight that I can carry with me easily,...
Pros: Compact size, adjustable beam, LED or krypton models available, infinitely useful. Cons: None.
Introduction I've been a Maglite owner for years, and have never been dissatisfied with any of their products. Their full-size D-cell lights are fantastic devices, and have served me faithfully. However, they're a bit large to carry around on a ...
Pros: Small, convenient, bright, easy to use, fun, Made in USA Cons: for what this light is made for, none!
I've had my AA maglite since highschool. And so it's been about 7-8 years. In fact, I may have gotten it before then. This light is durable. It has lasted close to what will be a decade, and I've had to change the bulb I think twice, and sent in for ...
Pros: Lightweight, durable, and small. Cons: Not thrilled with the twist on and off switch.
Very well made and lives up to its high standards as a Maglite. Comes in many colors and is small enough to fit in a pocket or purse. Delivers a strong light beam and can be used in all weather conditions. Many uses including unscrewing the top and...
I have had 2 of these models of mag lites and they are great. Very durable and waterproof. I have not had a problem with either one of these maglites.
I usually carry them with me when I am going camping or I put it in my vehicle for emergency use. You can focus the beam of light to be spread out or very narrow also you can set it up like a candle so that it lights up a large area.
The lites are quite good on the batteries. After a while you will see the light become yellowish and that generally means that the batteries are getting low and the light is not as intense as it used to be.
The only problem I have with the lite is that unlike their bigger brother it does not have a switch where you can press it to turn on and off. I think this would be a great feature to have. You have to twist it which involves two hands.
Lux Star Mini Mag LED bulb conversion kit from Lux Star Co in the USA by ausdog ,Nov 19 '04
Pros: Light frequency makes it much more useful. Increased battery life is very true and obvious. Cons: Can't think of even the smallest fault thus far.I miss changing the bulb.
The LuxStar MiniMag LED conversion is not cheap at about $25 but worth every penny. My girl-friend(age 47)is not impressed by gadgets. She is waiting for the conversion kit she ordered. The kit I got is the 1 watt single "bulb".
