Pros: Usual Rokkor optical quality, build quality, communication, ease of use Cons: A wee bitty slow, especially with 1:1 convertor.

Pros: Absolute great lens, all openings usable without any doubt. Filter size only 55mm Cons: AF speed very slow
Summary: I have used this lens for over a year now. From f/2.0 on, all openings are great: sharp over the whole negative, no dark corners, no distortion. ALthough this is not a "G" lens, it has all qualities for professional use.

Pros: Fairly priced, very sharp, very fast Cons: Hard to find new, narrow manual focusing ring
Summary: This lens is one of the sharpest Maxxum's Minolta had ever made. Perhaps a close third only to AF 50/2.8 macro and AF 100/2.8 macro.
