Pros: Lightweight, high resolution, easy to use. Cons: Expensive batteries.
Summary: I was just going through my Epinions and realized I had not written a review on one of my cameras. I've had it for so long now that I thought I told everyone about how well this camera works. Since it's been a while since I've written a review on a ... read more

Pros: Well loaded with features, light, Compact and very easy to use. Cons: No DOF preview. A little nose heavy when you put qualiy lenses on it.
Summary: I bought this body with the intention of learning and growing into it. I have since moved on to a more pro body, but love to shoot a roll of film just for fun every now and then.
This camera is REALLY easy to use and has more features than you ... read more

Pros: A great beginner/amateur camera. Has many features higher end cameras have at a lower price. Cons: Manual that comes with camera is not very helpful.
Summary: There are many cameras out there that are good for beginners/amateurs at cheaper prices like the Nikon N65 or the Canon Rebel 2000. In comparison the Minolta XtSi is not much more expensive and has such great features that you can grow with this ... read more

Pros: Small, Light, Quiet, Good looking, Plenty of Features and Accessories Cons: Can't really think of any
Summary: Well I bought this camera for £220 in the UK (where I live) after I broke my first proper camera, a Zenit TTL. Thus far the Minolta 505si Super which is what we call it over here has performed faultlessly during a short holiday where it was used ... read more

Pros: Compact size, convenient controls, light-weight. Cons: No depth of field preview. Poor flash coverage at widest angle.
Summary: 0) Overview:
I have owned this camera for a year now and I am quite happy with it. I bought it as a replacement for my Minolta X-700 which I owned for 14 years. The X-700 was still running strong, but I wanted something with auto-focus and an ... read more

Pros: small and lightweight, not too expensive Cons: could have more features, feels cheap
Summary: This is a great camera to learn on. Not as imposing as a fully manual body, yet more functional than a point and shoot.
This body gives you one great feature: eye-start, which will turn on the camera when you put it up to your eye, which I ... read more

Pros: Ease of use, autofocus, continuous shots, price, feature rich Cons: More expensive than most point and shoot cameras, some unituative controls

Pros: Great resolution!!!! Cons: Expensive batteries

Pros: Ease of use, many advanced features, uses any Maxxum SLR lense Cons: None so far!
