Pros: It WORKS! Quality materials and workmanship. easily found on the internet. Nothing else compares Cons: Relatively expensive, hard to find in stores.
Our Story I had heard about this blanket a hundred times over because the Brother-in-law of a good friend of mine was selling the blanket that his brother invented. I'd looked at it on the internet when she first told me about it years ago, ...
Pros: Stays secure through the night; you can wrap the whole body or just one arm! Cons: Pricey (but worth it)
I can’t emphasize this enough: every new parent must have a Miracle Blanket! This is the ONLY swaddling blanket that babies can’t wriggle out of. I learned about it in my new-mom’s group, where every time a new member came in with a problem, the whole ...
Pros: Absolutely essential for a good nights sleep if your infant is fidgety Cons: I want one big enough to last him until he's a teenager.
We have a photo of our son in his miracle blanket, with a cap on, and a pacifier firmly suctioned into his mouth. Every time I look at it, I laugh and think about hannibal lecter strapped to his two-wheel gurney. Swaddling involves wrapping a child ...
Pros: Good, tight burrito swaddle that lasts all night Cons: Cost
It's funny how much I like the Miracle Blanket, considering I've always laughed at so-called "swaddling aids." As an experienced parent, I'm not afraid to swaddle a baby tight with a receiving blanket, and I think I'm even very good at it. Even so, it ...
Pros: Works very well on young infants Cons: Can be hard to learn proper technique at first; babies will outgrow it too soon
A friend of mine had recommended that we get the Miracle Blanket for swaddling, but I resisted due to the hefty price. However, once my twin daughters quickly started to kick out of their hospital blanket swaddle, I decided to give it a try. I bought two ...
Pros: sleep, sleep, sleep and more sleep for mom and dad! Cons: a little time consuming at midnight diaper changes but worth it
I received this blanket as a shower gift and at first was a little concerned about wrapping my little one up like a "mummy". However, the baby sleeps 7-10 hours at night with the use of this blanket and only 4-7 hours without it. I tried switching to a "wearable" blanket sleep sack and she was up continuously throughout the night. I've read some reviews stating that the child still "escapes". If you wrap her snuggly, I guarantee that your child will not escape. I think that, like me at first, most parents are hesitant to wrap their child tightly because it appears uncomfortable. However, this is what it was like in the womb and it really is how they are most comfortable. If you use this blanket and use it correctly it truly is a "MIRACLE"!
Definitely a good product to have by bft72 ,May 17 '07
Pros: easy to use, and keeps the baby swaddled. Cons: only lasted about 3 weeks.
I have tried to swaddle my son using the method I learned from the hospital, but the swaddle always break loose easily. After using the miracle blanket, the swaddling is a lot easier.
The only thing is the swaddling only lasted about 3 weeks, and my son started crying and struggling every time I try to swaddle him. Luckily I found another amazing product online, called SilkSac. It is a baby sleeping bag with silk floss filling. My son has been sleeping for about 5 hours straight since using it. So give it a try if your baby is done swaddling.

100% Satisfaction NOT Guaranteed by kitsune-hime ,Apr 13 '07
Pros: It's a nice shade of blue. Cons: Doesn't work as claimed. No useful satisfaction guarantee.
My newborn son hated The Miracle Blanket from the get-go. Every time I put it on him he'd scream bloody murder and fight like mad to get free. I followed the directions, tried it at different times, and waited until he was a few weeks older. Still, he hated it. He also got really hot and sweaty as the blanket wraps around multiple times. In a house kept between 68 - 70 F degrees, it was simply too hot.
As new parents we all want that magic bullet that will soothe our babies, but this wasn't it for mine. To add insult to injury, the so-called "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" emblazoned on the packaging does not apply to gifts, as I was told when I phoned the company to inquire. You must purchase it directly through the Miracle Blanket Web site in order to get their guarantee. Guess I can try to wax the car with it since the gaurantee is as useless as the blanket. Some miracle.
The Amazing Miracle Blanket is a Miracle! by kathyhen ,Jul 09 '05
Pros: Durable yet delicate and can be washed daily.
Holds the strongest babies. Cons: Only found on-line and a bit pricey. We found eBay has the best price.
As people who value a good night's sleep among the most important things in life, the Miracle Blanket is the most important baby product we own.
For the first two weeks of Erika's life we swaddled her in The Ultimate Swaddling Blanket, but she always managed to break free and never slept more than 1 1/2 hours at a time.
My husband found The Miracle Blanket on-line and ordered one. The first night we used it she slept four straight hours. By the weeks end she is sleeping though the night. I'm confident that The Miracle Blanket has made Erika a happier baby and I know it's allowed my husband to be better parents because were finally sleeping.
Pros: Easy to use, nice fabric, and works wonders on our kid. Cons: Other than high price, it's all worth it.
With my wife we have a 4 and a half month baby. For the last two months we have had the hardest time putting him to sleep. It would take us about 2 hours (I'm not exaggerating). So we decided to give it a try with the miracle blanket. We have used the blanket for one week so far and it has been absolutely FANTASTIC! He has been sleeping for about 10 hours (waking up only once to feed) and wakes up relaxed and happy. The instructions don't recommend using the blanket beyond 4 months of age (because that's the time when babies start to roll over) and for not more than 8 hours in a row. Our baby doesn't roll over yet, though, and we only plan to swaddle him at night. So, while we'll be judicious in its use once he starts to roll over, I cannot speak highly enough of the Miracle Blanket.
Pros: Light weight and stays put. Cons: When baby is squirming and fussy it takes time to wrap the baby correctly.
We bought this blanket after reading all of the great reviews because our baby has colic and nothing else has helped. It is a nice light weight fabric and does work much better than using a regular blanket. BUT, I found it a bit hard to use because the final wrap is so long. It takes me a couple minutes to wrap the baby correctly and just as long to unwrap. Although it hasn't helped with the colic, it does calm her when she is just a bit fussy.
Pros: Nice soft cotton. Easy to use-even my husband can swaddle with this blanket. Cons: Didn't help baby sleep longer. My daughter can squirm out of this blanket.
Nice breathable cotton blanket. Certainly better than a regular blanket for swaddeling. The blanket did not help extend the duration of my daughter's sleep pattern. She wakes every 2.5-3.5 hrs to eat with or without the blanket. My daughter can also squirm her arms and legs out of this blanket. It takes her a little longer than with regular blanket, but she's still successful.I still think the miracle blanket is better than traditional blankets for swaddeling, but it's not perfect.
Pros: It really does keep a child in a swaddle Cons: A small hole on the outer seem has occurred in all 4 blankets.
With my first child, I struggled desperately b/c he needed to be swaddled but was able to wiggle out of everyone he was put in. I found this blanket and have NEVER gone back. I now have a second child and am still using this blanket. We actually own 4 so that we always have one clean.
