Pros: Incredibly smooth, thick but not too thick Cons: Little carbonation, pretty flat
...at least that I've had. I've had better tans, and I've had better blacks (Guinness Stout still rules), but I've had no black and tan better than Mississippi Mud.
It's that good. It's very smooth, like chocolate milk going down. The black...

Pros: Unique bottling, nice smooth taste Cons: Only comes in four-pack
This is a very nice beer for those of you who like Black and Tans. This Mississippi Mud, as far as I am aware of, is a Southern Louisiana specialty. I think this because I have not seen it in other places. The packaging it comes in makes it very...

Pros: Good flavor and aftertaste Cons: Not very many places sell it.
Nice smooth texture and taste. I tried it when I was in California and was glad to see that I can now purchase it in the east. Try it!

Great Taste, Less Filling...MS. MUD!!!
by kenobossman129 ,Mar 16 '08
Pros: Great Taste/Great Price/Less filling than dark beers Cons: Not enough stores carry this product.
By far this is the best beer and beer deal I've found in my beer drinking days. I've been taking Mississippi Mud to my competitive tennis matches and everybody wants to know where I buy it. For the price ($2.99 a quart), it's now my favorite beer. I like it better than the expensive imports, and I've tried most of them! (I find mine at Trader Joe's in the Atlanta area). The biggest problem I have is finding the beer. Only a few shops have it in the Atlanta market. Hopefully more store will carry this product as the demand increases. Just give it a try and I think you'll agree with me about the quality of this product... It's also a conversation piece!
