MK is nice

by search66 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Dec 04 '02
Pros: lots
Cons: dpad
I'm going to be bold enough to state that I'm probably one of the biggest Mortal Kombat fans that ever set foot on this green earth. It started off way back in the day at the height of arcade glory… This little hole-in-the-wall arcade called "Blazing...

Ahem... MORTAL KOMBAT! (Plus, bonus ranting from an MK fanboy)

by rader6795 , Jan 07 '04
Pros: Great graphics, sound, story... MK is back, my friends.
Cons: Over-the-top blood, cheap AI, inexplicable boundries, button-masher's heaven, no arena fatalities.
Prologue Before I begin, I might as well let you all know that I, the PerswAsian, Terry Rader, am one of the biggest all time marks for the Mortal Kombat series in all of history. It all started way back in 1992, when the original Mortal ...

A Great GCN Fighter, But That D-Pad....

by Shaunpm60 , Apr 19 '03
Pros: Good graphics and sound. A lot of unlockable content.
Cons: I really hate the GCN's D-Pad for games like this.
Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is the latest in the Mortal Kombat series, and it's the best game in the series since MK2. While MK4 did recieve some acclaim when it came out, it still felt like the 2-D MK games, even though the series evolved to 3-D. MKDA...

Immortal Wombat Returns With a New Style and Dime Sized D-Pad...Finish This!

by wandering_mage , Feb 26 '03
Pros: Good new characters and fighting styles. Nice graphics.
Cons: The real flaw is the restraint of the tiny GC D-Pad.
THE BASIC BEEF
Back in the days arcades were more famous, Mortal Kombat was always a main attraction, and for some reason, all the words that started with C, started with K...never really understood that. Anyways, I was apprehensive when Midway...

The bloodiest game ever
by silvrdrgn08 ,Dec 03 '03
Pros: new age graphics good and new style of fighting is good
Cons: there is not enough to keep one occupied for a long time,
This game is really fun for a short period of time, but after a while it can become boring. I enjoy fighting games a lot, although I am not a huge fan, and this game interested me. Mortal combat Deadly alliance held up to expectations and was the best mortal combat game so far (the new age graphics helped). The biggest change in this game from all the previous mortal combats was the ability to move in depth across the screen. After a while the game got boring though. Worth buying for those who love fighting games.

My review will help you if you are looking into this game
by funnyfighter ,Oct 10 '04
Pros: Fatalities are amazing. A good story plot.
Cons: Johnny Cage is still at the roster. Liu Kang is not playable.
Mortal Kombat had set a new level in fighting games when it was released and to this day Mortal Kombat is such a big hit! Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is an amazing fighting experience. It begins with the story of the evil sorcerer Quan-Chi, who escapes from the other realm to find Shang Tsung (another evil sorcerer). When the two evil ones meet they begin their journey to kill Liu Kang. Once they found Liu Kang, with the help of Quan-Chi, Shang Tsung killed him and stole his soul. Raiden gathers the chosen fighters to defeat Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi. From new fighters such as Blind Kenshi, Bo Rai Cho, and Frost this game puts fighters against one another to see who is really the Mortal Kombat Champion. Pick up that control and get going, "This is a deadly alliance!"

This game is just as...
by scorpionman_dt3000 ,Dec 09 '02
This game is just as good as any of the previous mortal kombat games. The only flaw in my eyes is the limitation of fatalites. It is the best game graphic wise and is truly a game to be enjoyed.
