We LOVED them!

by momma33 , Jun 30 '07
Pros: Fits newborns to toddlers, great snap system, extremely durable, quickly pay for themselves.
Cons: Bulky on newborns (though all cloth diapers are), pricey when compared to prefolds.
I used these for about 18 months, for a newborn and a 1 1/2 year old. I loved being able to use the same diaper for both, and not having to change sizes as the newborn grew. The diapers held up very, very well, and although the manufacturer would ...

Mother-Ease One Size Diaper--They're Great!!

by ehusk , Apr 13 '07
Pros: Ease of use, durable, and easy care.
Cons: Bulky for newborns.
I have used cloth diapers with all six of my children. My four older ones wore pinned prefolds.(That's all there was back in the '80's!) My two younger ones have used both prefolds and Mother-ease One Size. I used infant prefolds until they were large ...

As easy to use as disposables

by mamakim , Mar 16 '07
Pros: Easy to use, fits baby to potty-training
Cons: pricey, bulky on little babes
I wearily entered the world of cloth diapering when my son was born almost four years ago. However, once I saw how cloth diapering had changed since my mother used them, I was hooked! Pins are still around, but there are so many ways to use cloth diapers ...

Makes disposables obsolete

by tjp1 , Dec 22 '06
Pros: Sturdy, well fitted, absorbent, easy to wash and dry, easy to fit.
Cons: Not quite as absorbent at night as sherpa fleece
I had decided right from the start that I wanted to use cloth diapers, both for environmental reasons and because, as a SAHM, saving $1200 a year on disposables sounded like a good idea. However, it didn't take me 24 hours to decide that struggling with ...

Mother-ease One Size

by jennb777 , Sep 17 '06
Pros: Don't have to spend the money at each size. Never had leaks w/toddler or newborn.
Cons: Leg openings a bit big for skinny kids, runny poop can get on the cover.
I first used the one-size diapers on my 13 month-old son (borrowed from a friend), and really liked the ease of use. They were plenty absorbant, & quick drying as well. The only problem I had was that poop sometimes ran out the legs a little bit onto ...

Excellent diaper for a reasonable price

by amkep , Feb 02 '05
Pros: Soft, absorbent, durable, improved design, good customer service
Cons: Bulky for smaller babies
I decided to do the cloth diapering right from the start with my first baby. I researched a lot and finally decided on these. I have not regretted it since. My son is a heavy wetter and is exclusively breastfed. These diapers hold runny stool well and ...

Best Cloth Diaper I've Found!!!

by kkauten , Jul 02 '04
Pros: Excellent quality, durable, hold a ton of liquid, soft, easy to use.
Cons: A bit bulky for a newborn. Stick with disposables for about 4-6 weeks.
Mother Ease is the best cloth diaper I've used. I have tried other cloth diapers, including Dutch made Bumpkins and regular prefolds. I figured if they were good enough for my mom, why not me. What a mistake. They wouldn’t stay on, got soggy very ...

Good Choice in Cloth diapers

by brainerdian , Nov 08 '02
Pros: Very Adjustable. Good Absorbency. No need to buy several sizes
Cons: Bulky when folded for smaller infants. Doubt will fit up to 35lbs.
We tried several types of cloth diapers when my daughter was first born (and even on stuffed animals before she was born :-) ) and we liked the Mother-ease One-Size very well. They were soft, absorbent and dried faster than some of the other ones we...

A good choice if you want a "One Size"

by busybusymomma , Aug 21 '02
Pros: An affordable choice for fitted cloth diapers
Cons: Will not fit a tiny newborn or large toddler
After using several kinds of cloth diapers, I've finally decided that my all-time favorite is a WAHM diaper called SugarPeas. I bought a part-time set (dozen) of the ME OS and used it for a month. After a bit, I decided that I liked the ME Sandy, so I...

Mother-ease - A Good Quality Diaper for a Reasonable Price!

by satie37 , Aug 20 '02
Pros: Very absorbent, good size adjustment, durable, well made, NO LEAKS
Cons: Bulky for small babies, not as soft as flannel
I have always used cloth diapers, however, when my now 10 year old was a baby the cloth diaper choices were limited and thus, very easy. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the wide range of cloth diapers NOW on the market. The choices were daunting! ...

Worth every penny

by seabird , Jul 27 '02
Pros: Easy to use, soft, comfortable for baby, no leaks
Cons: Rikky cover velcro strip rubbed & irritated our baby's stomach
We've recently had our first child, and for many reasons wanted to use cloth diapers. New to the game, we looked at many different types of diapers - prefolds (least expensive) to fitted cloth with special covers (most expensive). We were eventually...

Not all it's cracked up to be

by paccookie , Jun 10 '02
Pros: Soft fabric, plastic snaps, snap-in doubler
Cons: Bulky when folded down, way too thin for a toddler
I purchased a sampler set from Motherease and was very happy when they arrived. I got a one size diaper, a M/L cover and a snap in doubler for about $16.00. I bought these when I was pretty new to cloth diapering and thought that a brand name would be...

One Size Diaper Trasitions Well

by Cherri_CTsings , Feb 26 '02
Pros: Adjusts to a variety of sizes
Cons: Thick in crotch width for a newborn
I very simply adore the Motherease line of diapers. The Motherease One Size diaper has as it's best selling feature that it transitions from newborn up through toddlerhood. I could use it on my newborn and still be using it with a two year old. ...

Slip sliding away...

by deanamarie , Nov 02 '01
Pros: The snaps are much easier on tummies than the Velcro on some covers.
Cons: The were so roomy that my skinny girl's diaper slid around inside.
When these arrived in the mail I was very excited. I loved the snaps! The ones I had with Velcro would sometimes pull up and scratch my little ones soft belly.

When I tried them on her for the first time, they were so roomy that the diaper...

These Diapers Make the Transition to Cloth "Ease"-y

by tritter72 , Sep 26 '01
Pros: Plastic snaps, Adjustable to fit a large range of sizes
Cons: Did not fit our baby at the low-end of the weight range
"It's All So Confusing."

My husband and I sat staring blankly at the computer screen before us. For a combination of financial, environmental, and health reasons, we had recently decided to buy cloth diapers for our soon-to-be born...
