V70 : The phone that gets other people's attention!

by yusakugo Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Aug 13 '02
Pros: Small, stylish, excellent signal reception, attention getter, light, customizable
Cons: Small, looks fragile, microphone quality, Headphone jack interference
I now have the V70, the phone I was supposed to get with my cellular plan instead of the V60G. In some ways, the V70 is a superior cell phone... in other ways, the V60G was a better phone than the V70.

I've got to say though, the V70 catches...

Pros: Compact, Stylish, Great Features
Cons: Short battery life
My life with my cell phone began almost two years ago when I found myself very pregnant and very stranded at the side of a busy interstate just outside of Indianapolis. It was a flat that stranded my two young children and myself. The kindness of...

by alexmant , Aug 17 '00
Pros: many features great look
Cons: don't know
The name “Nokia” already says a lot about itself. I got my phone a little over a year ago. It is disconnected for some time, I had to disconnect the service because I moved to the different state and the service I had doesn’t cover the area where I...

by atsang , Oct 29 '00
Pros: Solid, Reliable, Best Features
Cons: Not Found
I never thought that I would own a cellular phone, however, when I realized that using a cellular phone to make local toll calls can be much cheaper than using a regular phone line, I changed my mind.

So far I have been using my Nokia 6120 for...

My kingdom for a decent cell phone!

by adjensen , Mar 05 '01
Pros: Incredible battery life. Great display and menu system
Cons: Horrible signal in buildings. Breaks with some abuse. Interferes with my computer!
In the seven years since I first got one, I've had probably eight different phones (counting the three StarTacs that all broke :-) I've been using this Nokia 6120 for about two years, but it's on its way out (replaced by my company with another friggin'...

Golly Gazungies! A GOOD one!!

by Dinday , Jan 22 '00
Pros: Long battery life; light weight; slim, pocket-fitting
Cons: Tweezers needed to punch power button; not the easiest working headset plug
Having recently returned from the seventh ring of Audiovox hell, I am purring contentedly snuggled up with my Nokia 6120. Gone is my nemesis problem of being unable to access computer menu systems with touch tones. I can use my dual mode Nokia in...

Brains + Beauty = V70

by Nagase , Sep 16 '03
Pros: clever swivelblade design, elegant design, modifiable interface, compatibility with PC/PDA/laptops
Cons: small screen, no download capabilities, no polyphonic ringtone, no built-in (or attachable) camera
Long been hailed as a phone that puts style over function, the Motorola V70 is the company’s offering to the trendy crowd of the massive mobile phone market. Certainly the V70 is a handsome phone, but it also has a lot of merits that go beyond its lo ...

The sexiest thing you can bring to the board room...and still be dignified

by dinhle , Sep 28 '02
Pros: Sexy looking, good reception, small and stylish
Cons: Very expensive, not user-friendly, a bit too delicate
I just recently purchased a Motorola V70 unlocked GSM phone. With the phone being unlocked, I was able to simply insert my old Voicestream SIM card, from my old SonyEricsson T68, into the new phone and turn it on. Here’s my first impression and...

The ultimate in mobile phone style: Motorola's new V70

by incoherent99 , Aug 19 '02
Pros: THE most unique and stylish mobile phone on the market; small and lightweight.
Cons: Expensive; battery life; to swivel one-handed takes practice.
Mobile phone design has progressed rapidly over the past couple of years, with them becoming progressively more stylish, small and light. However, in terms of aesthetics most new mobile phones are starting to look more and more alike with little to...

Cute phone- for someone else!

by moonbeam74 , Jan 05 '01
Pros: Compact, cute, and popular
Cons: Speaker and ringer volume dangerously low
To begin, the Nokia 6120 is my first cell phone. The first review I wrote on this phone was written in a cell phone newbie's daze, probably contributed to by the high levels of radiation I exposed myself to while trying to use up all of my allotted...
