Motorola Timeport P8767

by e-jey-636 , Oct 13 '01
Pros: It's sleek and light weight
Cons: some might not like antenna and small buttons, its better then you would think
I wanted a cell phone so I started checking out websites and info on different service providers and phones. After hearing what friends and family had to say about Sprint PCS, I decided to go and check out what they have to offer. No one I talked to had...

All my 8767's I have had

by rlpark , Nov 28 '00
Pros: Nice Looking
Cons: Paint chips off phone
I bought the 8767 for the looks and size. I have had almost every digital StarTac for CDMA. This one is nice to look at but my biggest problem is that the silver paint chips off the phone. I have had eight 8767's all with one problem or another. Squeeky...

motorola isn't the best

by twbabyboi , May 17 '01
Pros: good looking, light weight
Cons: small screen, bad reception, antana is unconvinient, breaks easily, low battery life
Althought a lot of American consumers know motorola, other people from asia and europe aren't as really familiar with it. You want to know why right? well heres why, even though the cell phone may look good, light and portable, It has low battery life,...

StarTac is still a great phone

by knitterb , Jun 03 '01
Pros: Light weight, nice belt clip, clear display, excellent battery.
Cons: Old base charger doesn't accept the phone (batteries still charge)

This is a great phone. This is now my second StarTac. I have to say, over the older (black) StarTacs, this battery life kicks butt! I can go almost 2-3 days on the battery (if I have few phone calls), 1-2 is I use it moderately.

Beautiful little Phone, But does it Break?

by doooood , Feb 07 '02
Pros: Organic Color Display, Style, Ease of use
Cons: Durability of Product,
I've owned this phone for about 10 months now, and i'm writing a review to go over the long term vices and virtues of this phone.

I don't use a case for it, just the click in semi-case that came with it, so these issues may not affect a normal...

Happy so far . . .

by wilyliam , Jun 20 '01
Pros: Lightweight, readable display, vibrating
Cons: No voice dial, I really miss that . . .
I just bought this phone - my choice was primarily driven by the fact that I signed up for Verizon cellular service (for reasons outlined in another review) and this was the one I liked out of the choices I had.

So far I'm very happy - it is...

Don't bother
by adawa ,Oct 10 '03
Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: See review body.
This phone is expensive. Which would be fine if it had solid construction and fancy gadgets. It doesn't. It is flimsy, the paint comes off, the reception is dubious at best. I dropped it ~ 6" onto the carpeted floor of my car and now the power button works intermittently. The display washes out in bright lighting also. The "long list of features" are pretty much standard fare for any phone I've ever seen. On the upside, the menu and functionality are quite good. The lay out is good, although the buttons are a a bit small. I can't wait for my current contract to finish so I can get a new phone.
