My brand new Coffee Maker made coffee all over the white tile kitchen counter.

I believe the filter basket moves up when you place the coffee pot on the burner. This changes the angles enough to allow coffee to run behind the coffee pot down onto the burner then onto the counter top.

It's a shame that an otherwise nice looking full function coffee maker would have such a simple flaw.

Now we have to tilt the entire machine forward to make sure the coffee goes in the right direction.

Consider purchasing a different model if you see this one in the store.

This coffee pot leaks coffee when you try to pour it. The pot design itself is a problem. The lip on the end should be larger and it wouldn't spill coffee all over.

Cons: Audible Ready Signal, it will be the death of me.

I have a new born baby and I'm a late night caffeine crazed computer geek. The "Audible Ready Signal" is my worst enemy. The ISX20 has no feature for disabling this 5 high-pitch blasting alert. It's dive-dive-dive alert given across old WWII subs. I'm taking it apart next weekend with a pair of wire cutters in hand.

Cons: It's a major malfunction all around.

This coffee pot worked well for maybe 2 months. Then it began to leak all over creation when brewing. I tried to work with it for a week, then gave up. I wrote to Mr. Coffee and they were extremely helpful. I asked for a new coffee maker, and they sent me a new one within a week. We'll see if this one has the same flaws.

The coffee dripping into the carafe also drips down the arm sensor that tells when the carafe is in place. It wasn't so bad at first, we jut kept a towel under the coffee maker. Now, it leaks so bad hat coffee pours off the counter. Hot Coffee and small children!

The clock on the ISX20 can not be read unless you get down to eye level. The clock should have been tilted so you could read it from standing eye level.

My clock burned out the first week... So, I guess that solved that problem. ;) Not a good unit. I would look around.

Taking mine back to Walmart today.

Pros: It has never failed me, It has brewed very good coffee for me.
Cons: To me the long beeps of off & on i a little annoying to me.

I have really good use of mine, It took using it 3 times, when I found out about avoiding any leaking or dripping.
If you putt the basket firmly in place & the carafe firmly in place with the handle facing directly in place outwards in the middle, and never again leaked or dripped.
