We bought one of these for our office. Carafe drips onto counter EVERY time anyone uses it. The spout, which is supposed to
stop when you pull out the carafe, leaks out onto the hot plate creating a burned coffee smell that permeates the office. The filter compartment often gets stopped up somehow and allows grounds to enter the carafe or will overflow.
The engineers of this dog need to go back to the drawing board!

this coffeemaker can not do the basics. for one thing - you can not pour a cup of coffee without dripping all over the counter. then the filters continually collapse in the holder so that the coffee grounds spill all over and into the carafe. i do like the fact that it shuts itself off if unattended. you would think that mr. coffee would be able to make this thing better. i'm very dissappointed in the performance of this coffeemaker.
