Mr. Coffee Makes Coffee Possible

by lowdog420 , Feb 09 '03
Pros: Grinds well, not very loud, small, comes in 3 colors.
Cons: A little messy at first, size brings difficulty in cleaning.
I recently received a Starbucks pack full of 4 different whole bean packages of special seasonal flavors. The only problem was, I didn't have a coffee grinder. Now I'm not that big of a coffee drinker, but I decided that I should at least give these...

Great little grinder

by busby777 , Jan 05 '08
Pros: inexpensive, durable, works well, safety lid, can grind nuts and spices
Cons: grinds only a few coffee beans, little control of fineness/coarseness
When my son gave me five pounds of Blue Mountain coffee beans, I needed a way to grind them up to make my coffee. I found this little machine at Target for only $12, and it has been my little grinder for five years now. And it still works, just like ...

Pros: Works Great Love it!!
Cons: Will cause user to become addicted;)
What could be better than freshly ground coffee? My answer would have to be freshly ground coffee right in your own home. This little baby does what it says it will do. My favorite is the built in safety switch. I chose the chrome finish because...

Pros: Excellent quality, compact, works great

I want to say that Mr. Coffee makes a terrific coffee grinder. I have had my grinder for several months now with no problems whatsoever. I have purchased about four Mr. Coffee grinders in the past and none of them ever broke! I only ended up purchasing a ...

MR COFFEE COFFEE GRINDER IDS55

by windsor1936 , Apr 01 '08
Pros: In the box, it appears fine
Cons: it is only good for one grinding
Our old coffee grinder which we bought in the grocery store about eight years ago, with no care at all for $5.99, recently died. We have grown to enjoy grinding our coffee and so drove the 60 miles from our island home to a big box to buy a new coffee ...

GREAT COFFEE GRINDER FOR FLAX TOO!
by ipinion2 ,Feb 09 '05
Pros: see above
Cons: if there are, they haven't turned up yet (had it a week)
I just purchased this, hope it keeps going strong. Maybe I will purchase another for coffee? I use mine for flax seeds and it works WONDERFUL, so QUIET -- my sister once had a Krups or Braun (?); it was so LOUD, we couldn't stand it.
Cleaning is not that bad. For the inside, you shouldn't get it wet, unless you wipe with a damp cloth.(Never immerse!) What I do is hold it over the sink, a little away from my face, close my eyes, and blow! It helps get out the last bits of residue. I will do a better wipe-cleaning once a month or so. But the dry or slightly damp paper towel-and-blow method seems to work fine.

Great Little Grinder Seven Years and Counting
by todd6559 ,May 02 '06
Pros: Inexpensive. Durable. Simple. Safe. Easy to use, and easy to store.
Cons: None.
This amazing little blade grinder has been crushing up our beans now for seven years and counting! They should have called it the Energizer ... it just keeps grinding, and grinding, and grinding ....

No bells and whistles, just plug it in, fill it with beans, put on the lid, push down on the button, count to ten, turn upside down filling lid with grounds, dump grounds from lid to coffee maker basket, replace lid, put back in cupboard 'til tomorrow morning.

If you need more from your grinder, don't look here, because that's all there is to it. But if you just need to make great coffee every morning, and need a reliable grinder at a great price, this is the one you are looking for.

Put me down as one fully satisfied customer.
