This product was recommended by a friend who developed acne only after turning 30. I bought it for the occasional blemish that I get when I'm stressed or not sleeping well. I applied it as soon as I felt a zit coming on and I reapplied as often as I could remember (if I was home) and made sure to rub it in good before going to bed. If I did this and caught it early enough, I sometimes managed to prevent a reddish raised area from blowing up into a full grown pimple. It's probably the only product that I'll ever use again for pimples. Even when I applied it after a pimple already emerged, it seemed to make it go away faster without drying like benzoyl peroxide treatments tend to. I don't mind the sulfur smell but some people might. The only thing I guess I hate is that it's pricey.
