::So Real You Can Taste The Dirt::

by SParkfan77 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jan 15 '03
Pros: ::ESPN presentation, great visuals, franchise mode::
Cons: ::Tough to make longer passes::
It’s been a while, I know, but I’m back for a review. Now, for the last year, the X-Box has become the best and worst enemy to gamers all around the world. Some gamers like myself were willing to give it a chance, while some...

Each year the NFL2K series keep getting better and better

by ss3goku , Sep 16 '02
Pros: Great player models, sound, and gameplay. Oh and the ESPN license of course.
Cons: No multi-franchise mode?
Now I've come to purchase the NFL2K series ever since it's debut on the Sega Dreamcast. Nothing against Madden or Fever, but it seems that SEGA just had a magic way of pulling off their sports game that makes you want to come back for me. Perhaps it's...

NFL 2K3 - Great Switch from Madden

by LaughingTarget Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Sep 17 '02
Pros: Impressive visuals, top notch animations, excellent controls, wonderful franchise mode, no Madden!
Cons: Commentary less than dynamic, play selecting takes time to get used to, as does kicking.
I used to be a Madden junky. They had it all, great games, decent franchise, easy controls. But, after this year and thier total lack of substantial improvements (please note, I no longer have that piece of trash PlayStation 2 so the online addition...

Deep and robust football game

by kyuushu , Oct 27 '02
Pros: Gameplay is excellent, commentary is good, and lots of customizable options
Cons: pass coverage can be really stingy, lacks custom play making (present in previous versions.)
NFL 2k3 is one of the best football video games ever made. The game is fun and challenging thanks to the exceptional computer AI. At times, NFL 2k3 looks exactly like a television broadcast - thanks to the excellent graphics, great audio commentary, and...

The 4-1-1

For a long time there was only one king of the Football games and that was Madden's series......but we got a new winner, inside the box of Sega's NFL 2K3.

I tried Madden 2003 out before this...

A very well-done football game.

by ScottMcG , Jan 24 '03
Pros: Great graphics, fun gameplay, ESPN commentary.
Cons: No tutorial mode, some football knowledge helpful.
Let me state something right away: I am not a football fan. Where I grew up (Portland, OR) we didn't have pro football, so I never really got interested. My wife, on the other hand is a serious football fan.

Since I got my XBox, I have...

Looked good enough to give it a try.

by dprov35 , Jan 04 '03
Pros: Smooth Graphics, ESPN presentation, a new challenge to Madden.
Cons: Too much arcade feel, players don't perform realistically at all.
I've been a HUGE Madden fan for the last 7 years. No game was ever worth trying. I recently sold my PS2 for an XBOX and decided it would be a great time to give a new franchise a try. After 2 weeks of well used gameplay I have mixed results..
The...
