Pros: water soluble, all natural, smells pleasant Cons: does not remove fine hair, not painless, causes ingrown hair
I do admit that I get sucked in by those infomercials on TV, yet I generally never buy anything off of the TV. However, when this product became available at a local shop, I couldn't resist trying it.
I do have some experience with waxing. I...

Pros: I guess if you were really hungry you could eat it. haha! Cons: very painful, messy, sticky, somewhat expensive, side effects.
I too was sucked in by the all too convincing infomercial. A woman from Australia named Sue Ismial claims to have invented this product for her daughter who had a problem with hair growth. Has anyone heard of sweet simplicity?? It was the...

Pros: No odor/No burning Cons: Painful/Messy/Expensive
I chose Nad's no-heat hair removal gel as an alternative to the endless shaving. I heard about Nad's on a t.v. infomercial. I was amazed and hopeful at the claims it made: *Safe to use (depends see below)
*100% natural...

Pros: Um...None. Cons: Ouch?!?
All I wanted was the "magical" answer to hair removal. It's summertime, afterall. I'm in shorts 50% of my life and I don't want to have to think of shaving so often.
So off I went to my local drugstore to pick up some Nads. I had seen the...

Pros: Would work great if your hair was over an inch long! Cons: Doesn't work if you are the average woman with a regular habit of hair-control.
My younger sister was given Nads as one of her Christmas presents this year. She excitedly opened the package and tried it out. Needless to say, she was disappointed. Furthermore, it took very little time to discover this.
The bad points of...

Pros: don't have to heat, no strong chemicals are in it. Cons: doesn't work well!!!!!
Like many women, I am constantly on the mission to find the best method of hair removal. As I sat at home watching television, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a commercial for Nad’s. Nad’s is an “all natural” hair removal product that was designed...

Pros: Odorless, pretty packaging Cons: Thick gooey overpriced
I wish I had consulted Epinions before I bought this "over priced" product. I too saw the Seen on TV ad and decided that since I had a few hairs on my upper lip and underarms I would try it.
Now I normally use Sally Hansen lotion...

Pros: easy to use, removes hair quickly and completely Cons: Pricey, stickiness before you wash the stuff off, lost the strips
I'd seen the Nad's infomercials many times before, and like many of you out there, I laughed, thinking that this was just some cheap ploy. When I went back to visit my family in India, I was lectured on how bad it was to use a razor or depilatories, and...

Pros: It's easy to use, I've had great results with most hair not growing back Cons: It is very painful and very sticky.
Well after reading some of the other opinions about NADS hair removal gel, I thought I should add my own because I seem to be having better results with this product.
I have been using NADS since June 2000 - 9 months so far.

Pros: Offers all the benefits of cold waxing. Natural ingredients, cost effective over salon waxing. Cons: Costly compared to shaving, painful like all waxes
NADS: It has given me and my boyfriend hours of fun. Well, me, anyway. We saw the infomercial together and he said (the fool!) "I'd like you to do my arms with that"-- you see, he's mixed race, and hates the hairy Irish look, wants to look more like a...

Pros: facial hair - forget the wax treatment now Cons: expensive
This is the only item I've purchased via an infomerical. I was curious after seeing the results for facial hair removal. Plucking is painful for me and shaving leaves me with bumps under my chin, my upper lip and eyebrows. Waxing I swore off of 10...

Pros: Tasty, painless (kinda), and just plain fun to use! Cons: Un appetizing appearance... too sticky...
When I first saw an infomercial for this product, I thought it was truely a joke! The name was funny, and I thought to myself "there is no way any hair removers can be painless". But me, being the kind of gal who must try everything for...

Pros: No smell, no skin ripping, almost no pain, and less hair grows back each time. Cons: It's sticky.
When I first saw the Nad's commercial, I thought it sounded too good to be true - especially the part about not feeling much pain. I had waxed my legs once and could never get the nerve to do it again. I was in tears after the first pull, and it got...
