Pros: Works great! Cons: Melts easily in shower!
I've been using the Neutrogena Facial Bar for Acne Prone Skin since I became a Teenager. Over 15 years later I still keep this product in my house!
As a teenager with oily skin I was prone to ugly breakouts. The perfumes and other items in...

Pros: non drying formula, mild and gentle Cons: none
I have been troubled with acne most of my teenage and adult life. Like others, I've tried and failed at using most over the counter acne medicines and washes. Until a few years ago, I thought that I was destined to be one huge zit for the rest of my...

Pros: Reputable brand, very affordable brand, face feels very clean after every wash. Cons: soap is ultra-soluble so doesn't last as long as i would want it to.
Most stuff i have tried either doesn't work or is too drying for my crazy skin that is normally oily on the forehead and nose but comfortable on the cheeks and somewhat dry on the chin.
One day i discovered Neutrogena. And i have been using...

Pros: affordable and can be found almost anywhere
doesn't clog pores, not heavily scented
Cons: takes a little time to see a difference
I started using neutrogena acne body wash about 7 months ago, and after it started working wonders for my skin I decided to purchase the facial bar as well. I have very, very sensitive skin and was hesitant to use this on my face as I already suffer from ...

Pros: soft, CLEAN feeling Cons: dries out skin a bit
I actually did not purchase this product. My sister had a bar of it in our shower and I started using it sometimes. The first time I used it I thought, "Wow, my skin is so soft!"
I told my boyfriend how wonderful it was, I was...

Pros: Dries oily skin, inexpensive, long-lasting, feels fresh and clean Cons: Smells funny (but it's not strong or offensive)
As an employee of Neutrogena, I am encouraged to try all the products so I can have a better understanding of them. I have been using the acne soap for some time now, because I like it and it works well for me.
I have normal skin that...

Pros: nice packaging Cons: too drying, irritating, initially clear glycerine turns cloudy then whitish
I had been battling acne for several years when I decided to give this soap a chance -- what a mistake!
The packaging is attractive and the soap is nicely wrapped up, which adds to its appeal as something that will clean well (and hopefully...

Pros: nice looking bar, nice packaging, clean smell Cons: melts fast if left in water-turns white and all slimy
Well, I tried this bar because my dermatologist recommended it. He was wrong. Found out that I am allergic to some of the ingredients. It made my acne much worse and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought the soap was pulling all the dirt...

Pros: Really helps prevent blemishes and doesn't dry out skin Cons: Personally, I would rather use a cream cleanser than a bar soap
I always try new products to keep my oily skin from turning into a serious blemish problem. Also, because I am a lowly college student, I have no money to waste. That's what lead me to Neutrogena Facial Bar for Acne Prone Skin.
This is the...

Pros: great for oily skin Cons: not as easy to use as liquid cleanser
I love Neutrogena's facial soap bar. It washes my skin clean and clear without over drying. Washing my face everyday with the facial bar helps reduce the chance of acne. The soap is inexpensive, and comes in a large bar that takes a while to get get used...

Pros: Affordable & Effective Cons: rotate with a moisturizing wash
Neutrogena's facial bar for Acne Prone skin is a wonder! First of all, the most impressive feature is it's affordable price of $2.50 ! In addition to that, it really works quite well. Acne gets under control yet it does not rob your skin of its own...

Pros: Softens, and cleans Cons: Over use causes
Okay, first you need to understand that each product works differently for each person.
For me, the product works well. However, I can only use it once or twice a week. If I DO over use it then my face breaks out! But, I use it...

Pros: Affordable, some improvement Cons: Messy, not completely effective
I have had acne prone skin since I was twelve years old. I am now 22. This product was recommended by my dermatologist along with basis and dove. Neutrogena did work better than the soaps Basis and Dove, however it did not clear up my acne. Also, the...
