Pros: Easy to use "pump" applicator; may help with milder bouts of breakouts. Cons: Expensive in price; not effective for moderate cases of acne in oily skin.
In my decades long quest to find that "magic" product to eliminate facial breakouts due to oily, acne-prone skin, I've tried just about every over-the-counter acne treatment there is. While benzoyl peroxide containing preparations, such as...
With so many skin/acne treatments on the market today, I usually stick with my usual brands. However, after reading another review on Neutrogena’s Multi Vitamin Acne Treatment, I decided it was a must for my skin care regimen. As I have stated...
Pros: non-oily, reduced marks, small and easy to use bottle Cons: increased break-outs, expensive
Sadly, I have some cases of acne, but thankfully, they are very minor. Before I got two prescribed creams and a prescribed pill from my dermatologist, I would walk through Eckerd and CVS looking for different products to help get rid of...
Pros: Lightweight, greaseless, makes your skin hap-hap-happy! Cons: Might cause slight dryness for sensitive skin types
Does it ever end?
You would think at age 28, my worries about acne blemishes would be long overwith. And for several years, they were. But as many adult women learn, adulthood does not always equate clear skin, and as our...
Pros: Product claims to Contain vitamins and fruit extracts. Cons: Ingredients are not listed on the bottle, Salicylic Acid is the active ingredient.
Even at age 25 I still have the unfortunate pleasure of getting visits from blemishes, or even Acne, especially during certain times of the month. So with that, A woman can get pretty desperate, and I'm no exception. When I see a product that claims...

Only a TEMPORARY measure
Hi again , I've been using the product for more than 2 months now. Here's the necessary update i ...
Pros: A bit of a rare product; has a useful function for some Cons: Not that great for its intended purpose
...though it passes itself off as an acne treatment for reasons that are not entirely clear: the 'lotion' is slick and greasy, not at all something for the blemish-prone face. The purported 'dual action' is just not there, to the point where I am more...
Pros: ease of usage, seemingly reduces acne scars, little goes a long way, moisturizer, price Cons: not very effective, irritable to broken skin, tinted, long time to wait for noticeable results
While reading many of the reviews for this product, I noticed that there are plenty descriptions of the ingredients, usage etc. So I decided not to concentrate on the features and description of the product, but rather on my actual experience with ...
Pros: Does clear up acne. Lotions absorbs nicely. Can be used without other moisturizers. Cons: Can cause excess dryness or peeling in sensitive skin.
Nature's little joke on us. Acne. You suffer through it during high school and figure once you get older that is one of the scourges of youth that you have happily left behind. But guess again.
Pros: light and non-greasy, good as a daily preventative acne treatment for people with sensitive skin Cons: doesn't effectively eradicate existing blemishes, probably not strong enough for people with oily skin
I have sensitive, combination skin- a bit oily and prone to breakouts in some areas, rather dry in others. So finding an effective acne treatment regimen has always been a personal struggle. The typical acne treatment creams containing benzoyl peroxide...
Pros: Improves texture and appearance of acne-prone skin, reduces breakouts Cons: Not a magic bullet--you may still need other products
Neutrogena Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment has improved the texture and appearance of my skin. For me, it's not a standalone treatment, but for someone with less persistent acne, it may well be the only answer necessary.
Being a vitamin fanatic...this product caught my eye right away!

Pros: It does help improve skin clarity, but only up to a point Cons: Can be drying
I have been using Neutrogena's Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment lotion on and off for about one year now. Why? Because it does help control my bad skin problems. It's not a miracle product, so if you have severe cystic acne, see a dermatologist for a...
Pros: Fades red spots and even eliminates some scarring Cons: Does not visibly prevent or eliminate present acne
Why do I continue to buy this product? It doesn't clear up my skin, but then again, nothing does. I normally give up on every product after a few months of faithful use and no results. The reason I continue to buy this one is because I have seen ...
Pros: None for me personally Cons: Didn't stop acne, didn't help skin tone, made my skin oily
When Neutrogena first introduced their acne fighting products, I went and tried almost all of them. I love Neutrogena and have had great success with their products in the past. I am sold on their On-the-Spot Acne Treatment (see my review), but I was...
Pros: works effectively Cons: smells a little, takes a long time (8 weeks) for it to work completely
I purchased this product because I wanted a way to effectively get rid of my acne. This product really works. It also has a chart in the back of the box. It's very easy to read, and interesting how sure they are that the product will work, which...
Pros: clears up skin without drying it out Cons: doesn't work instantly
I purchased the Multi-vitamin acne treatment on a whim. I guess it is because I have tried so many acne products before and was still searching for something to clear up my skin and not dry it out at the same time. When I first tried this,...
I purchased this product earlier this summer with the hopes that it would help get rid of a few of the skin problems I was having. I usually don't have what most consider skin problems. I occasionally break out, but that was not my biggest problem....

Pros: Light, absorbs well, clears up skin and even exfoliates Cons: Sunscreen and light moisturizer follow-up is adamantly required
I first tried this a few years ago when I was a teenager going through the wonderful hormonal hell that is problem skin. I never had true acne, all I had were pimples and clogged pores here and there, mostly ganging up on my right cheek. Mom prescribed...
Pros: NONE Cons: Dangerous - if this works I wouldn't know because of the side effects
The product: It comes in a 2.5 fl. oz. pump bottle. It is a daily moisturizing treatment that treats and helps prevent breakouts—while helping to fade marks and even out blotches from past breakouts. This oil-free formula makes your skin look clearer ...
Pros: Smells yummy and fresh and feels smooth going on. Cons: Other than painful, inflamed cystic break-outs and burning red skin, none.
Having recently made an effort to be more "natural" in my grooming regimen and hoping to find something less harsh and more soothing with which to fight the acne that has been a near-constant on my complexion since age 12, I thought I would give this ...
Pros: mess free application Cons: smells kind of funny
This past winter, my sister suffered from a severe case of acne. It wasn't until about late May that she finally got it under control after trying several products prescribed by her dermatologist. She was finally pimple free, but she had the splotches...
Pros: This product does not feel like medicine. Cons: None that I have experienced and I have used this product 3 years.

This product helped reduce the redness from old acne scars...
Pros: easy pump, doesn't dry out my skin, helps acne somewhat Cons: takes awhile to help acne, doesn't help past damage
Hmmm... There's nothing like waking up the day of a big date or an important meeting and seeing a mountain growing on my face. I just love that! Then comes the "freaking out," and me digging through my bag of makeup trying to find a concealer that will ...
Pros: Helps prevent acne and makes skin more smooth. Cons: Takes a long time to start working. (weeks)
The only reason why I bought this product was because of advertisement influences. When I opened the package I found a little bottle which was not very nice looking at all. It looked like some sort of medication for something really bad like feet...
Pros: IT WORKS!! miraculous results on moderate adult acne; great for sensitive skin Cons: may take a while for maximum efficacy
I am a skeptic, especially when it comes to skin care. I'd been trying to clear up my acne since puberty, but the most noticeable effect most products had was to leave my particularly sensitive skin scaly, flaky, and red. You know what I mean?
...
Pros: Cheap, Effective, Doesn't dry skin Cons: Effectiveness wears off with continued use
I have very sensitive skin, so I don't like using Oxy or Clearisil - which does work at eliminating zits and pimples. But these products give me dry and irritated skin after use.
So I tried the Neutrogena Multivitamin Acne Treatment.
...
Pros: It lasts a long time, easy on the purse. Cons: Fails to work, does not moisturize or help with acne conditions.
After seeing Love's face, so perfect and clear, next to the bottle in ads I decided I would purchase some. I am always on the look out for moisturizing products that will not cause my skin to break out or look greasy. The dread of every woman I'm sure...
Pros: improved my skin's appearance and texture. Cons: none

Pros: Reduces number of breakouts, doesn't dry out skin Cons: Does not eliminate redness as product advertising claims
I first purchased this product about a year ago as a result of the claims that it reduces redness. After my skin has healed from a breakout, it still remains red for weeks. So, when I saw this Multi-Vitamin acne treatment that promised to reduce...
Pros: It's just a feel good product. Smooth skin, less blemishes. Cons: Good for minor acne treatment.
Over the past few years I have been plagued with that dreaded adolescent problem known as acne. However, there is a way to deal with the emotional suffering acne has caused you. Neutrogena Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment really works to treat blemishes...
Pros: inexpensive Cons: not effective, oily-feeling
I^ve tried nearly every adult-acne product on the market and when I heard about this one I was keen to give it a go--it sounded perfect--dries up acne AND nourishes my skin with vitamins plus fruity extracts?? Mmmmm. . .
Pros: Kind of worked for the first few weeks. Cons: Stopped working after a short time.
I had read about Neutrogena Multi Vitamin Acne Treatment in a magazine and decided to give it a try. I am in my 30's and have oily skin and frequent breakouts. I am so tired of this by now that I'll try anything. This was my first time using a product...
Pros: Gentle and light - non greasy feeling Cons: None - does what it says it will
I am 38 and have been battling adult acne for several years. I would break out around my chin and nose areas. I tried several other treatments but all that would happen is that my face would dry out and I'd still have large pimples. Very unsightly to...
Pros: The lotion is so concentrated it lasts a long time. Cons: The dispenser tip sometimes clogs with dried lotion.

Pros: Doesn't dry out your skin! Cons: Can't be used alone to cure all blemishes..but still good!
Over the years I have tried so many over the counter acne treatments I've lost count. While most have been disappointments I've come to know that I can almost always count on Neutrogena to come out with a quality product. Once again they have not failed...
Pros: Breakouts are under control now. Fewer and less-noticeable blemishes. Cons: Doesn't give me baby-clear skin, but what over-the-counter product does?
"Fewer blemishes. Fades red marks from past blemishes." It's like the ad for this product was written just for me. I have OK skin, but I always seemed to have one pimple looming somewhere -- usually a doozy during PMS time -- plus a few blackheads on my...
Pros: Evens out skin tone while moisturizing Cons: The small bottle will run out quickly
I should buy stock in Neutrogena because it is the only facial product I use. I am in love with this acne treatment. It's wonderful...it really works! It takes about two weeks after the first application for it to start working, but then you will see...
Pros: Effectiveness and Price Cons: Not marketed enough
After wasting hundreds of dollars on "fine" acne fighting treatments and dermatologists, I found relief for my blemish-prone skin in a tiny bottle during a late night trip to my local drugstore.
Pros: Acne disappeared in 2-3 days and no recurrence in over 2 weeks Cons: Blemishes are still around, i.e. bumps from the acne (used for 2 weeks)
I am actually quite impressed with this product. I had this sudden outbreak a few weeks ago, maybe because of summer, so I started using it. BTW I have mild acne. The existing acne dried up in 2-3 days (probably less but they may have been healing a bit...

Pros: Clears complexion Cons: Takes eight weeks to do so
I think that the Neutrogena Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment is great. It clears and improves your complexion. It makes your pores smaller and your skin smooth. The two bad things is that is makes the redness of your pimples really stand out (but there's...
Pros: Reliable company, very smooth and not greasy, pleasant smell. Cons: little pricey, dries up skin, so-so results
I am one of the thousands of teens that suffer with the dreaded ailment of acne. While I do my best to fight this nasty condition it still pops up on me. I've tried numerous products through my teens (18 right now) and with Neutrogena's multi-vitamin...
Pros: Smells good Cons: Gave me a rash! Dried out skin!
Ok now I figured Neutrogena is a great product, right? Well I was looking at their lotions one day and I picked this product up and started to read the label. "A lotion that helps clear up acne well improving the look of your skin". I thought...
Pros: Evens out skin tone/texture Cons: A bit greasy and takes a few weeks to work.
At first I didn't like this stuff, but with continuous use, it improved the overall tone and texture of my skin. It got rid of red spotting and scars, and my skin felt smoother and softer. However, I don't think it's very effective at preventing...
I used this product for a while and it did help control my acne, but after a while when I would miss a time to use it my skin would start to break out. So the skin can become dependent upon to vitamins in the substance. But during the time that I used...
THIS IS GREAT FOR DARK SPOTS! by toya_peets ,Nov 18 '03
Pros: Fades away acne spots Cons: Leaves a bit of a oily film on your skin
I'm not sure if it helped with my acne, but it was great for clearing up my discoloration and acne scars. I would advise anyone to try this to bleach acne scars without bleaching your whole face.
Neurtrogena Multi Vitamin Acne Treatment by communque ,May 30 '06
Pros: Pump bottle,
Vitamin E,
Salicylic acid acne treatment,
Nice smell.
Gentle on skin Cons: Difficult to find in 'brick & mortar' stores, for me at least.
I love this stuff and it's soooo hard to find!!!
This is the best acne treatment I have found to use as an adult. It works fast, doesn't dry out my already slightly dry skin and it has healing vitamins in it.
Please buy this product so that it doesn't get discontinued!!
Stressed out Doctor-in-training seeks breakout free skin by docdank ,Jul 11 '06
Pros: Affordable, safe for sensitive skin Cons: Makes my face feel a little sticky, so I only use it at bedtime.
I never had any acne or blackheads until I turned 21. Never had to wash my face or anything, then after a miscarriage, my hormones caused my face to break out. No major zits, just some annoying white and black heads. After many unsuccessful treatments, including prescription strength, nothing was working. My face is sensitive and doesn't react well to some of the harsher, more abrasive treatments. During my 1st year of med school, on of the residents suggested the Multi-Vitamin Acne Treatment by Neutrogena, and I loved it. It is the best stuff I have tried. My face is now clear and even under alot of stress, my face remains soft and clear.
Pros: lightweight, keeps acne at bay, is very inexpensive and just plain works great!! Cons: none accept I can no longer find it at walmart or target
I love this lotion. My husband and I have used it for several years and can't find anything better. It's lightweight, helps with our mild breakouts, doesn't cost a ton and most importantly doesn't break me out MORE like most lotions. To those who say it is expensive, please don't expect miracles from a $2-$3 bottle of lotion. It's not going to happen.
Worst product I've tried to date by jensharp ,Sep 17 '04
Pros: The vitamins? Cons: On the expensive side, stinks, greasy, rash-like feeling afterwards
When I first heard of this product, I thought the idea of feeding your skin vitamins would prove beneficial. After using it five days, I quit using the product as was warning friends not to use it either. When I first pumped the lotion into my hand, I noticed that it smelled horrible and had a very greasy consistency. I put it on my face anyways assuming the smell and texture came from the "healthy vitamins" inside. When I woke up the next day, my face was greasier, had a stinging sensation and an increase in the amount of breakouts I had. After using it five days, I was shiny, acne-ridden and disgruntled to say the least. Needless to say, I will NEVER use this product again.
Couldn't find product, so I had some made. by chuck757 ,Apr 18 '09
Pros: Neutrogena worked if you could find it, but very expensive for a small amount. Cons: Very small bottle that only covers about 2 applications.
I have the bumps on my legs and backs of my arms with clogged follicles, and could not find this product, plus it was too expensive for a small amount for my legs and arms. I found an old time compounding drug store, which are very rare to find. Sherry's Drug in Edmond Oklahoma was able to compound me a creme lotion that has salicylic acid, vitamins A, E, and B-5, along with many other ingredients, and got several jars made. It's working better than anything I have ever tried. Finally have something that works!!!
