Pros: Many hours of gameplay, solo or online play, create and download new modules Cons: Game is too easy for older characters.
Neverwinter Nights is my second favorite game (Diablo II w/ expansion pack is my favorite). We purchased it when it was first released and the two of us (my husband and I) spent hours upon hours going through the module it comes with. I think we broke it...

Pros: Best implementation of 3rd edition rules so far, relatively authentic compared to the tabletop rules. Cons: Awkward camera controls, faster pace of the game may turn off some hardcore RPG'ers.
The wait is over. For those that have tracked the progress of the development of Neverwinter Nights, you know it's been a long one. A rocky road. A frightening legal snafu with publishers that almost sent the game into the vaporware bin. But it...

Pros: Ability to make modules. Cons: Doesn't quite live up to all the hype for a few reasons.
Neverwinter Nights has been hyped for years as a breakthough RPG, and while it's not a bad game, it doesn't live up to it's full potiential for a number of reasons.
System
For starters, I have a pretty typical mid-range...

Pros: - long lastability
- level editor
- multiplayer Cons: Single player is rather dull
I've been playing Neverwinter Nights (NWN) constantly since it was released and I'm absolutely charmed by this game. It is a followup of the Baldurs Gate (BG) saga but not to be seen als Baldurs Gate 3! The basic difference is that it is based on the 3rd...

Pros: -great replay value
-great for hardcore/RPG fans Cons: -requires lots of time
-not for casual gamer
This review is intended to touch upon the multiplayer aspect of NWN only. For singleplayer reviews, see elsewhere. NWN is easily the game with the most "bang for your buck" value in gaming history. For about $60-70 (NWN 2 expansions), you get about 23 ...

Pros: Good Graphics, Great Multiplayer Concept Cons: Single Player is somewhat short, some visual features do not work on ATI Radeon Cards
When Neverwinter Nights first came out, it was so popular that it took many people days to find a copy of it. This was mostly because of it's hyped multiplayer features.
Neverwinter Nights is a Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game by Bioware,...

Pros: Expansive campaign creation, fairly accurate rendering of D&D 3E rules... Cons: ...heady system requirements, custom content is a headache to setup/use
For some reason, the press and publicity around Neverwinter Nights reminded me of the U2 song "Even Better Than The Real Thing"...everyone was focusing on the concept of bringing live, interactive role-playing into the realm of the computer. Now,...

Pros: Action-packed, increasingly engaging game! Cons: Still working out some kinks!
Neverwinter Nights is a great RPG; lights, scenery, and non-stop action make this game come alive. I always look for games that challenge my thinking, and allow me to be creative. I dont want to simply follow a storyline thats been set before...

Pros: Immersive, highly realistic character interaction, close to 3E rules, cool loot! Cons: Runs like a slug in mud on a 1.x GHz. STILL WORTH IT!
...Neverwinter Nights is a simply amazing game. Though my supposedly adequate computer runs it at an agonizingly slow pace and conversation options have taken me as long as a full minute per option, I have been immediately and almost totally addicted to ...

Pros: Seems less buggy than the ridiculous Pool of Radiance II (don't get me started) Cons: Doesn't implement d20 Open RPG properly.
IS EVERY GAME PUBLISHER LISTENING? WHEN YOU PAUSE THE FRIGGING GAME, TURN OFF THE GODDAMN SOUND!
Now that I have THAT off my chest, this seems to be an very good rendition of D&Dv3 rules. The feats seem to be in place and the artwork and...

Pros: Excellent graphics and gameplay. Cons: Storyline is a little lacking. Some character skills don't make sense.
Neverwinter Nights is an outstanding role playing adventure. The graphics and sound are great. Overall, the gameplay and storyline are very good with only a few minor flaws.
The graphics are the best feature of the game. The game was built...

Pros: Great story, brilliant characters Cons: steep learning curve, easy to get lost
Neverwinter nights is one of those games where you can do what you want, where you want, how you want it. It wouldn't be safe to call it a sandbox game, but it takes the Dungeons and Dragons mindset and immerses the player into a very rich and complex ...

Pros: Great sound and music, good use of the D&D ruleset, expansions and community are good. Cons: Graphics are only average, voice acting is sometimes bad, main storyline okay not great
I have always been a fan of role-playing games. I got hooked on the Final Fantasy series after I had experienced Dragon Warrior, which had been preceded by Ultima: Exodus. Most of these games borrowed heavily from the rules of Advanced Dungeons & ...

Pros: Long, Fun Cons: Sometimes it gets too difficult
Never Winter Nights- Character : When you start Never Winter Nights (NWM) you need to create a player. First, you start with the gender, obviously male of female. Then you choose a race from at least six different races from human to half-orc. After ...
