Nexxus Humectress Moisturizing Conditioner - Well....

by amyk49 amyk49 is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Wellness & Beauty, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Jan 07 '04
Pros: Light, pleasant scent, very moisturizing, no animal testing
Cons: Doesn't detangle well, expensive, can weigh hair down
After lots of coloring and highlighting, my hair has been in dire need of some quality, deep conditioning. I've tried numerous hair conditioners, from the cheapies to high end. One of my more recent forays into hair conditioners was Nexxus ...

Pros: Wonderful Conditionier; Can also be used as hairdressing; Scent
Cons: Nothing!
What better way to celebrate my 100th Epinion than to write about a Beauty product! (haha) I honestly can’t believe I have written 100 reviews, but here we go…

Previously I wrote a review about Nexxus Therappe Luxury Moisturizing...

Nexxus Humectress Moisturizing Hair Conditioner~Experience Your Hair The Way It Should Feel

by ifif1938 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Aug 28 '08
Pros: Makes hair feel silky and clean yet maintains good body
Cons: A bit costly
Of all my features I have always been thankful for my hair, my "crowning glory" or so I have thought for as long as I can remember. Most likely because I am a Leo and a Lions Mane is certainly important to those big cats, even little Leo's like me. As ...

Nexxus Humectress Moisturizing Conditioner Restores Your Sexy, Silky Hair!

by hempem Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Jul 30 '02
Pros: Nectar of the Gods. Completely remoisturized my brittle, dry hair!
Cons: Expensive, Salon product (can't purchase at local grocery store)
About My Hair . . .

I love long hair. I am a brunette and currently my hair reaches my bra strap and is naturally straight, with drier ends and oily scalp. This can be a tough combination to deal with, since I feel the need to wash...

Nexxus Humectress Moisturizing Conditioner: For Healthy, Shiny Hair!

by Birdfeather Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Jun 03 '06
Pros: Delivers time released action for continuous moisture.
Cons: Price.
I usually wear my hair shoulder length to mid back. It's straight with a little body but my hair is very thick and dry. I've color treated my hair in the past and between this and blow drying, my hair has suffered the brunt of all the primping. I was ...

Soft, Silky, Shine!

by historygyrl , Feb 13 '07
Pros: Everything! Moisturizes, imparts lovely shine, keeps hair soft and silky.
Cons: Used to be the cost, but that has come down quite a bit.
I have been using Nexxus products on and off for many years. I worked in a hair salon for years and since it was one of their featured product lines, I dabbled with it here and there. Post-salon I continued to purchase various Nexxus products and when ...

Nexxus Humectress: Original and Best

by nermaloo , Feb 10 '07
Pros: Best conditioner currently available on the U.S. market, non-greasy, non-sticky, easy rinsing perfection -LOVE IT!!!
Cons: Costly, and I personally am bored with the scent
I have used Nexxus Therappe, Keraphix, and Humectress (in that order in the shower) for about 9 years now and, despite the extremely high price (about $28 a liter -and this is a "deal" for the larger size), I have never been able to find any product ...

Humectress is the best thing that ever happened to my hair!

by mystiquedragon , Oct 05 '03
Pros: Works great! Nice smell! Best conditioner I have ever used!
Cons: Couldn't find it in salons near me. Had to get it from an online store.
I am an African American female and like most African Americans, I have very hard to manage hair. At the beginning of this year, I was so upset and tired with dealing with damage, split ends, and dry straw-like hair, I cut my hair very short. I hated it, ...

Luxorious conditioner....

by fallingfan , Mar 18 '08
Pros: Leaves hair smooth, quality
Cons: THE PRICE! Does not detangle very well, a little too thick
I received a sample of this in the mail and was happy to try it again, because I had not used it for years. The good: Smells like coconut, very sweet and gentle. Hours later you can still smell it, though only lightly. After using the ...

Nexxus Not the Pinnacle

by sayscece , Oct 26 '07
Pros: Can be found at WalMart; not crazy expensive.
Cons: Tangles, tangles, tangles; left my curls frizzy and fuzzy.
I’m tired of looking at the dozen or so half-empty and dusty conditioner bottles on my bathroom shelf. I’m equally tired of futilely fighting what nature gave me and have finally accepted that my naturally curly (springy ringlets not loose waves) virgin ...

I've used this for years

by sherry87 , Jan 10 '03
Pros: Can leave in and hair doesn't look greasy, smells great, awesome moisturizer
Cons: more expensive than grocery store brands
I have long thick fine hair and I am addicted to dying and bleaching it which usually keeps it trashed. I rely on humectress to keep my hair from breaking. I use it in the shower and then put a bit (size of quarter) in after towel drying and it works...

Humectress head

by peppyj716 , Jan 04 '02
Pros: Does a great job repairing and moisturizing, love the coconut scent
Cons: The price is a little steep
I have gone through several conditioners through the years, and I have always struggled to find a conditioner that could make my coarse, straight hair manageable.

Humectress has solved that problem. It has done everything my ideal conditioner...

Simply the best.
by catniplollipop ,Mar 11 '04
Pros: I've tried almost everything. This is simply the best.
Cons: Expensive, but an excellent investment.
I'm 36 and have had long, thick, hair for years. Every once in a while I'll get a perm. Love the curls, hate the damage.
I bumped into this site a few months back and decided to give some of the recommended hair products a try. I've tried Nexxus, Redken, Sebastian, Joico, Scruples and everything CVS and Wal-Mart have to offer!
I've spend a lot of money attempting to find something that really works. Nexxus Humectress is the best. It is expensive, but an excellent investment. The Humectress Shampoo is excellent too. So is their hair gels.

My Hair Thanks Me!
by priscilla5000 ,May 25 '06
Pros: Leaves hair incredibly smooth!
Cons: Pricey, and you have to use a lot
This conditioner has worked miracles on my damaged hair. I blow dry it, flat iron it, and this has really been the best thing for my frizzy hair. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and very thick. I have long hair so it helps detangle and greatly improves the health of my hair.
