by 42ENGLISH Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jun 17 '00
Pros: None really
Cons: Expensive. Not effective.
When my husband bought some Nicotrol Inhalers as an aid in his effort to quit smoking, I thought they were rather expensive but if the results were a success it would be worth it.

As he quit the cigarette and inhaled on the plastic nicotine...

Pros: looks and acts like a cigarette
Cons: can produce some side effects
There are no magic cures or remedies to help one quit smoking. You have to really want to do it-- it's called commitment to stopping. Believe me, I know! I'm ashamed to admit that I've been smoking for 35 years, have tried every possible way...

Sinfully smoke indoors.

by jamesbondwppk , Oct 12 '02
Pros: The sensation and satisfaction is the same as smoking cigarette. Sinfully smoke indoors.
Cons: Requires a prescription from your doctor.
For me smoking cessation was never an issue. It is really quite simple, for reasons I will not discuss in this review, I am never going to quit. I am, however, finding it more and more difficult to find times and places to smoke.
I was smoking...

Pros: Helps with the oral fixation of smoking.
Cons: Will burn the hell out of your throat is you puff to hard.
My 5th day and counting. I think I have licked the horrible, nasty smoking habit, but I can't say that the inhaler has helped. A girlfriend of mine used this to quit smoking and she just raved about it. So I thought I would try it out. First of all...

Pros: I quit smoking after 8 years of 2 packs a day.
Cons: You don't get a "smoke break" anymore.
If you are looking for a way to quit smoking, this can help. I recently decided to quit smoking after 2 packs a day for 8 years. I have been taking Zyban in addition to this inhaler. I do get cravings for a smoke so I grab this inhaler. It is simple to...

Cons: VERY Unpleasant and VERY Expensive!
I've smoked for many years and am always on the quest for the miracle that's going to help me stop. (Like everyone else, I saw the commercials, the dorky guy puffing away at the plastic thing, riding in the convertible with the beautiful woman...)...

Ok, I'll start here with the facts, 42, smoker, 3 1/2 packs a day. Sometimes 4 packs, up the stress level, or if I'm bored, or....and it goes on.
A friend of mine asked me to join a cessation class with her. Well, I had just heard about the...

Pros: Assists patient with both withdrawal, and the oral-fixation.
Cons: Very expensive for those without medical coverage.
I finally made the big decision on January 26, 2000, when the price of bargain cigarettes, had exceeded my meager budget. As a 4-pack a day smoker, I was filled with trepidation and anxiety over quitting. I joined a Smoking Cessation Clinic, and...

I'd been smoking 2 packs a day for over 30 years and have never been able to stop for more than a day or two until using this product. It's the first method that worked for me. At 6 weeks I'm already sure I've quit for good.

Pros: I think it's the best method when you're ready.

by thedempseys01 , Jul 16 '02
Pros: This helped me stop smoking, when the patch did not.
Cons: Costly
This is great. I quit smoking! Nothing has ever worked so well before. This way I could still hold a fake cigarette, and inhale it. I actually felt like I could exhale smoke, after inhaling. It was so much fun using the inhaler,I think people that...

I've been smoking for 12 years. I started smoking when I was very young. Honestly, I can't really remember my life when I didn't smoke. I've tried the others and they didn't work for me. But when I tried the inhaler it actually worked. I've been...
