I went to the PGA Tour Superstore yesterday and had every intention of getting the Taylor Made RAC TP MB irons. The associate asked me some questions and suggested that I try a few out. He brought the Mizuno MP-67, Callaway X Forged, Nike CCI Forged, and a Titleist blade (forgot which one). I had by far the most consistency with the Nike and the Callaway. Then, I had a shootout between the two and was fitted for both. Fortunately for me, the Nike standard setup was perfect for me. The Nike offered great workability, ball flight, and distance. I hit the Callaway a little farther, but the Nike was the better club. I would have never picked it out myself because it doesn't look nearly as sexy as the Taylor Made or the Mizuno, but it sure out performed all the others for me. As no club is perfect for everyone, be sure you try out a few and find the one that works for you. For me, it's the Nike CCI Forged.
