Cons: Inferior shafts

My son asked me to buy these for him as he had been using a friend's set and liked them. Shortly after, his friend kept breaking the shafts. Three months later, my son's shafts are starting to break.

Pros: Great balance. Easy to feel the club head. Easy to hit.
Cons: For the first time in 12 years, I like everything about my irons.

For years, my index stayed between 13.5 and 15. I was good with my woods and around the green, but very inconsistent with my irons. I even resorted to replacing my 3, 4 and 5 irons with 7. 9 and 11 woods - much to the amusement of my golfing buddies. Then I borrowed my son's slingshots for a round and could not believe it. I was hitting high, dead straight shots with solid contact very consistently. It's now 2 months later and my index has dropped to 9.7 and I am getting better as my confidence in these irons grows. I bought my son a new set and will be keeping these.
