Pros: price, pre-formatted scene modes, 7 megapixels, ease of function Cons: slight graininess in low light
There tend to be two kinds of people who use compact, single-lens digital cameras--those who want ease of use, point-and-shoot pictures, and those who don't want to mess with extra lenses and shutter speeds, but nonetheless want a little bit of ...

Pros: rechargeable battery, fast shutter time, high quality photos, great modes including video mode, small, price Cons: easily scratched, takes about 3 seconds to turn on
The COOLPIX S200 is a great digital camera if i do say myself. Not only are the pictures of great quality but it manages not to eat your battery and is rechargeable. There is a tripos hole at the bottom and a flap for batteries and memory card. Oh ...

Nikon crap
by redoxide ,Jan 01 '08
Pros: Light weight, stylish Cons: photos are distorted and out of focus
I just bought this camera, looks really nice! The photos it takes are crap! I have always been a Nikon fan but this camera sucks! i am taking it back tomorrow and sticking with my very old HP photosmart 318 with 2MPs. It takes way better photos. I took photos of my fence with both cameras, the Nikon lens made the vertical lines curve alot. The 5 year old HP's lens kept the lines straight. The Nikon was blurry and the HP was clear and in focus. Don't buy this camera just for the stylish looks.

Nikon Coolpix s200
by ilovetodance ,Oct 12 '08
Pros: Light weight, tough and great photos! only about 1/2 inch thick. Cons: Makes dark photos look speckly, and a tad lighter than usual. Dents easliy.
Oh my gosh. *scream* I was amazed as my eyes bulged on Christmas day sitting on the floor next to the Christmas tree with ripped wrapping paper all over me. My mom and Dad bought me a digital camera for Christmas in 2007, and its the best picture taker and video taker i've ever seen. My mom has a Olympus D-490 with only 2.1 megapixels. THATS LESS THAN MY CELL PHONE [3.1]! So anyway, This camera has 7.1 mega pixels and is nice, light weight and very portable for a pocket or purse. perfect for people who need to take pictures of kids blowing out candles, or with friends and such. Great for beginners too! I have the red one, much more prettier! Its not a good for taking photography like close-up nature, but for anything else, like self portraits, EXCELLENT! I think it has 3x Zoom, not sure, but it has 7.41 megapixels! If you have any more questions, email: gymnastlover@peoplepc.com or dr_pepper_lover6@peoplepc.com
