Pros: user-friendly interface, small and light, decent-quality images and movies Cons: slow to fire, images "rough around the edges"
A hoary techie joke says that there 10 kinds of people out there: those who understand binary and those who don't (rimshot). In this age of digital photography, some say that there are 10 kinds of photographers as well: those who want a ...

Pros: Slim elegant design, quality aluminum body, ease of operation, and large variety of colors. Cons: Very slow to turn on.
The shutter lag of this camera is very good for its class if the camera is already in focus. The lag time nearly doubles (~1sec in good lighting) when focus is required. Focus time seems to lengthen in dim or poor lighting conditions. With a zoom of ...

by lmomo92105 ,Jul 01 '09
Pros: Very light, long-life battery, good quality Cons: Images take to long to load, camera turns on very very slow.

Nikon Coolpix S210 Review
by sos67 ,Jul 06 '09
Pros: slimline, attractive, simple to use Cons: poor zoom, no battery life indicator
The Nikon Coolpix S210 is a lightweight, slim, compact digital camera available for under a hundred pounds. Its simple design means that it easily fits into a pocket or handbag, or the included wrist strap can be used to carry it around. The screen is a genorous 2.5 inches which makes viewing easy.
The Nikon Coolpix S210 Review comes with a lithium battery plus charger which saves those agonising moments of realising you need to nip out and buy more batteries. Unfortunately, this camera does not have a battery life indicator which could be very painful if you don't carry an extra battery.
The optical zoom on this camera is a poor 3x optical zoom or 4x digital zoom, which is much less than most cameras on the market at the same price.
The camera is incredibly easy to use, with few buttons and simple instructions. The on/of button is frustratingly close to the shutter button however.
The pictures are sharp and clear, and the camera is able to detect faces and focus on them beautifully.
This is an excellent camera for the money, you'd be hard pushed to find a better camera at the price
