Pros: Takes beautiful images; fast and powerful; rugged and durable
Cons: Big, heavy and more expensive than many used cars

Summary: It surprised me that nobody has written a good review of this camera, and it's a bit late since it's already replaced by the D4. Still, there are a few D3Ss left on camera store shelves, and in view of the horribly bad availability of the D4, you might ... read more

Pros: High quality photos at ISO 6,400 at 9 frames per second 12.1 megapixels
Cons: $5000 price tag, professional size and weight

Summary: The Nikon D3 is an amazing camera, especially for sports photography. The D3 produces photos at ISO 6,400 with noise comparable to ISO 400, that's five times the light sensitivity with no decline in quality. How about this: low to moderate grain photos ... read more
