Pros: Solid construction, features, performance, good included lens, resolution, value, sensor cleaning Cons: No auto focus with older lenses, menus could be better organized
I have used Nikon SLR cameras, including the film Nikon N55 as well as digital Nikon D50 and have liked them a lot. Once the new Nikon D60 came out, I decided to give it a try. I purchased Nikon D60 with its ...
Pros: Not too expensive - SD card - Rugged - Sensor Cleaner Cons: No bracketing - Problems in White Balance - No old style lens.
Don't be fooled by the title. Reflex for beginners does not mean at all that handling this to a beginner you would get some results. I was coming from a Fuji S6000Fd (or S6500Fd as we call it in euroland). The previous camera was a Bridge, intended ...
Pros: Smaller body size. 18-55 mm. kit lens is better than you'd think. Excellent viewfinder picture quality. Cons: A bit pricey, but look what you get! No lens hood or SD card supplied
Yes I agree...Nikon's new D60 makes a great "First Time DSLR"I've owned SLR's in the past (in a previous life when people shot stuff called Film) but after ten years of (a clunky Kodak DC40 and) two Canon Powershotsthis is my first ...
Pros: It's a Nikon, outstanding quality, easy to learn and use. Cons: Like any SLR, it's a little bulky for light travel.
My wife purchased the Nikon D60 for my birthday this year. I'll admit, I was new to the whole SLR world, but having used a Canon digital camera for years, I've been able to master this camera quite nicely. My camera was purchased at a local ...

Great Camera! Recommend as an easy to use DSLR by orlandorealtor ,May 26 '08
Pros: Great Pictures, Easy to use, For me a real gem! Cons: Nothing Yet
This is my first DSLR camera and I am glad I chose it. VERY easy to use and pictures come out great.Bought mine with the 55-200mm Vr and 180-55mm Vr for 828.00. Also came with two instructional DVD's and a free 2 mb sdhc card. The camera does not weigh alot ,a little over a pound, and it feels great when I hold it. Tried several different DSLR's out and kept coming back to the Nikon D60 as it just seemed right. Took it to my son's Spring practice football game and got great pictures with the 55x200mm Vr lens. Some were a little far away, but with some cropping they even looked great. Have only been using in automatic but intend to go into the manual mode in the future to experiment as there is alot I need to learn . Would recommend this camera to anybody looking for their first DSLR and by the way, Very easy from my wife to use too!! She loves it as she wanted a point and shoot camera that was more professional ,and also one that she could grow with!! Cannot see anyone not liking the D60
I love this camera! It is so easy to use and takes great pictures! by coreymac ,Jul 12 '09
