Pros: Quality, Value-Priced, Good Service, Well-rounded menu Cons: Desserts are pretty lame, not much ambiance
The Ninety Nine could best be classified as New England's ubiquitous basic steak chain restaurant. Growing up in New York, I never ran into a Ninety Nine until I started visiting my partner in Massachusetts. When I lived in Maine, one opened in Augusta ...

Pros: great drinks, great service, nice main dishes, variety of kid's menu Cons: no salad with meals, dessert menu not too spectacular
One new place I have frequently visited since we first began our move to New Hampshire is the Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub. Weve visited locations both locally in North Conway and Tilton, New Hampshire. Youll be able to find Ninety ...

Pros: Laid back atmosphere, lots of tasty food and great bar. Cons: Deserts are OK, but wait for the seasonal specials.
The 99 is a great place for people who love beer. I mean, it’s got good food too, but they know if someone wants a big beer with their dinner, they mean it. I will never forget the first time I ordered a draft beer and they asked if I wanted a small or ...

Three Course Bistro Meal
by samwells ,Jan 25 '07
Pros: Great value, Great service! Cons: None
I took my family to the 99 for dinner last night. My wife and I each got the Three Course Bistro Meal special. Wow! What a deal to get three courses for such a great value. I had Chicken and Corn Chowder, Pork Chops and the Brownie dessert. My wife started with a salad and then had Chicken & Vodka Penne and Carrot Cake. My kids both got something off the kids menu - also a big hit. Everyone left happy, which is always a great thing. Well definitely come back for the Three Course Bistro Meal again.

Not up to Par
by eyecandy007 ,Mar 06 '07
Pros: cold beer Cons: food low quality
I went to the 99 with my husband to watch the game and have a few beers. As the day went on we decided instead of eating all the popcorn in sight that we would order some food. We both got some appetizers and they were less then appealing. The buffalo chicken was tough and chewy hardly any blue cheese. My husbands potato skins were cold and barely had any cheese on them. We didn't really touch them and the bartender took them off our bill and asked if we wanted anything else, we had to decline. The staff was warm and friendly but the food was less then desireable. The food maybe cheaper but the quality isn't up to par

99 Pub and Restaurants
by ride_the_wind ,Mar 22 '09
Pros: The fries were good. Cons: I do believe I covered the cons in the above description of our experience.
Poor food, drink and service. On many occasions my family and I have visited the various 99's in our area. In the past couple of years the quality has deteriorated to the point of near disgust. Firstly, the ambiance of all the restaurants is the same. Too much lighting with those LAME "reasons why we like the 99 restaurants" framed and stuck EVERYwhere you look. They are both insulting of anyones intellect and just plain dull to look at. The wait staff are almost always clueless and uninformed. THe food is over salted and over cooked. The drinks we ordered were inadequate. MY husband had a mixed drink with very little alcohol and I ordered KJ wine and am sure the beverage served me was the lesser quality chardonnay. The food was poor and when I asked to have the remaining packed up to take home, I was brought an empty styrofoam container and the waiter watched as I had to scrape my OWN plate into it. PATHETIC! We had collectively spent over $60 on this meal. Needless to say... we are DONE with the 99 Restaurants. This was our LAST MEAL HERE!
