Pros: Comfortable Design, Nice Force Feedback, Lowered Price Cons: Wavebird Available, Z Button
In the world of console game controllers, Nintendo has been one of the main innovators. Not only did they invent the directional pad, but they also brought joysticks back into the mainstream for home consoles with their console the Nintendo 64. Their ...
Pros: nice durability, overall look and feel to it Cons: short cord
New systems means new controllers. And new controllers means more getting use to different button layouts and controller comfort. When I first saw pictures of the GameCube's new controllers, I didn't know what to think of it. It looked weird, and at...
"The heart of gaming isn't always the fast CPU or the intense graphic engine; many times it is the use of the systems controller. What made the Sony Playstation so successful? Was it the superior graphics or sound? Nope. It was the...
Pros: If you're adjusted to the PS controller, you'll like this one. Cons: Price, one-button-centric design has flaws.
One of the things I never understood about all these game consoles was that they were supposed to foster all kinds of togetherness with their easy support for multiplayer games, and yet, none of them ever comes bundled with an extra controller.

Pros: Comfortable, Light, rumble, different colors, best controller ever. Cons: Z button
Following the release of any games console, comes the even more important release of its accompanying controller. Nintendo have always been at the forefront in controller design, with an approach that focuses heavily on accessibility, comfort, ergonomics ...
Pros: comfort to the extreme, durable, responsive. Cons: Strange button layout
A precedent for controllers was instituted in my mind after playing with the wonderful and simple SNES controller But then, came along a controller for the N64 that was of extremely unique design, and it as well impressed me. Nintendo, obviously...
Pros: Nintendo Brand Controller, Comfortable, VERY durable. Cons: Cord could have been longer, but isn't that what they make extensions for?
One night I was sitting around on my computer chair with my eyes pasted on epinions. At this time, I think I may have hit a critical point as an epinions member. I had run out of things to review. Sure, I have a couple dozen games for n64, and I have...
Pros: More durable than the N64, analog sticks are very precise. Shoulder buttons feel great. Cons: Short cord, less buttons than PS2, D-pad is practically worthless.
First of all, this is the best controller available for the GameCube. It's more durable than the third party controllers, the analog sensitivity is more precise, and the rumble feature doesn't make a rattling noise. But I'm disappointed that Nintendo...
Pros: Easy to use, colorful and well designed. Cons: Cord to an extent.
Along with the small shape and games, the controller certainly fits the Gamecube family. It is tough, well placed, comfortable and easy to use. It does look awkward, but it is good nonetheless. It scores very high with me, and I think if you tried it...
Pros: Comfortable, nice main button layout, cool new analogue sticks Cons: Doesn't feel too solid, tiny D-pad, awkwardly placed Z-button
I tend to like Nintendo's controllers. The NES controller may have been a sharp square, but you got used to it. The SNES controller was nice and round, and very comfortable (so long as you placed your hands around the top like you were supposed to)....
Pros: Buttons are spaced evenly, small size that grips your hand Cons: The Z button is a little small. And the D-pad could be bigger
The Jet Black Nintendo Gamecube Controller fits easily into your hands. It's perfect for big hands or small hands. The A, B, X, and Y buttons are all very far apart. Unlike that of the Xbox. The Controller is far better and smaller than the N64. Yet...
Pros: As far as comfort is concerned, this is the best controller for any system Cons: durability(each color I have had problems with
I have been playing John Madden 2002 quite often on my gamecube. My friends and I have gone through six controllers already (in a 4 month time). I keep my controllers in excellent condition, so I know the problem is not due to misuse.
In all 6...
Pros: made by Nintendo, built to last, good quality + rumble, responsive Cons: GFD (see review), short cord, akward buttons
This is a great controller for the gamecube. Spice is a nice color, but it clashes horribly with your gamecube, making it a GFD (gamecube fashion disaster), no matter if your gamecube is black, blue, or platnumn. It has a short cord, which can be a pain if your couch is far from the TV. However, it works very well, it is very responsive and built tough. Actually, I've smashed it against the wall a couple frustrating times, and I see no visible damage. It works perfectly. Rumble is good, although it is nothing compared to the rumble of an Xbox controller. Nintendo always does a great job designing their hardware, and some of the other companies suck at it, so if it's a Nintendo system, I get Nintendo hardware. It is much better quality then those other brands. A final word: always stick with Nintendo hardware.
