Pros: Small: 4"x2"x1", light, extremely bright display, trendy, standard headphone jack, huge GBA library Cons: Feels fragile, unprotected display, no Game Boy/GBC compatibility
Nintendo has practically owned the handheld gaming market ever since the release of the original big grey brick of a Game Boy. Back then, nobody cared that they were playing games in only pea-soup green or that the thing drained batteries like nobody's ...
Pros: Small, portable, customizeable, bright screen. Cons: Screen size is small, price may be a factor for some.
I don’t think of Nintendo’s Game Boy Micro as a new system, so much as I think of it as an extension of their already popular Game Boy Advance line. The system is essentially a Game Boy Advance in a smaller shell. I don’t think of it as a “novelty” ...
Pros: It's so easy to hide this thing from your boss or teacher. Cons: It isn't anything new really yet it still costs a lot of money.
GAME BOY MICRO (2005-????) I was worried when Nintendo first announced a 32-bit successor to the insanely popular original 8-bit Game Boy Color way back in 2001. Sure, the Game Boy Advance was a cool system because it added more ...
Pros: Best design ever for an advance... Cons: ...but looks are all it excells at.
Nintendo are drunken sailors who spend money like drunken sailors. But to be fair, they're at least intelligent drunken sailors. They know even if they release the same Gameboy system four different times, it'll still sell by the millions. Although, ...
Pros: Portability, stunning screen, stylish design, expansive (and inexpensive) game library. Cons: How much longer will the Advance lineup be supported? Possibly not child-friendly.
For the uninitiated, the Game Boy Micro is Nintendo's latest addition to their venerable portable Game Boy console lineup. The Micro made its North American debut in September 2005 - albeit with very little fanfare in the US. Although I'm by ...
Pros: Size, screen, good looks, fun factor. Cons: Backwards compatibility, and speaker.
This is my review on the Game Boy Micro; the first Advance Game Boy with both a normal headphone jack and a backlit screen. So, I got my Micro last year. It cost me only $16.50 on eBay shipped. In case you are wondering, they don't normally cost that ...
Pros: Small, fun, and VERY portable. Cons: Aging technology, no new features, expensive, needs a "sleep" mode badly.
The word is out; there's nothing new with the Nintendo Game Boy Micro, except size. Why buy it? It's small, cute, fun, and you have a hundred bucks to blow... oh- and you're a gadget lover. I must say, it's a cool gadget for sure. The unit comes with 2 ...
Pros: SMALL
GREAT SCREEN
BATTERY LIFE
LCD is PROTECTED
SOME EXCELLENT GAMES
Cons: NOT ALL GREAT GAMES ARE IN STORES (ex: advance wars)
I've just got a GAMEBOY MICRO (i'm 26) and i'm very happy with it ! I bought it (with yoshi's island 20$can) to play in the metro or bus after work and the screen is so bright that it is really easy to play even if the thing is really really small... if ...
Pros: The portability is great! Cons: There is no flip down cover to protect the screen.
The Game Boy Micro is a great little system. I love it because I can take it anywhere with me. The Micro is not quite as advanced as other games, but is definatly worth the money. I love the portability of it and the backlit screen is great for playing in the car after dark.
Pros: Brighter screen, smaller equipment Cons: size might cause you to loose it.
This little game has such a bright screen unlike the other games. You can really get into the game and be able to see it really well. You can take it anywhere it will fit in your pocket. The game piece may be smaller but the screen is the same size and the picture is better.
Time Consumer for the kids by twins42905 ,Jun 09 '06
Pros: Keeps the kids busy Cons: Does not teach the kids good responsibility
This electronic BREAKTHROUGH is amazing it keeps my kids busy all day long. If I was to run errands and need to bring my kids with me, I have no problem with running around trying to keep my kids content because they are highly content with their Game Boy. It is a fun entertainment to get into. Kids love it. There are hundreds maybe even thousands of games to choose from to play. They do great for holidays, birthdays or anything to put a huge smile on your kids face.
Pros: Portable and durable Cons: Could use a brighter back light.
This is a really cool pocket game system. It fits into the smallest of pockets making it the most portable ever. There's nothing to flip open and risk breakage, making it durable. Additionally ,it's easy for small hands to hold onto - Love it! Love it! Love it! - Definitely a best buy from Nintendo! - EMWD
