Pros: Great Gameplay, Pays Homage to Nintendo's past, Awesome Multiplayer, Improved Single Player Cons: Adventure Mode is not all that great the 15th time through
Super Smash Bros Melee is the best reason to own a GameCube. If you have 2 - 3 friends that play games with you on a regular basis, then this is the perfect game for you. The interesting thing is that there is a halfway decent single player game too....

Pros: Great improvement on the first(I know I didn't think it was possible either). Cons: The word "cons" is not in this games dictionary.
Now I have to say at first I didn't think it was even possible to make a sequel that could be better than the N64 hit. But Nintendo proved me wrong again. Forget the nice family friendly games Nintendo has made in the past, that's been flushed down the...

Pros: 24 characters, great multi-player variety, tons of Nintendo memorabilia! (3D models of old favourites) Cons: Takes up most of your free time, makes other Game Cube games look average
Super Smash Brothers Melee is the best Game Cube game available. I played the original Smash Brothers and loved it and this goes beyond my highest expectations for a sequel. They've not only added new characters, but they've souped up the single player...

Pros: Tons of new secrets and characters. Cons: Very diffrent to it's original
My favorite game for the Nintendo 64 was Super Smash Brothers. When I saw the ads for Super Smash Brothers Melee (SSBM) I was sexually aroused. I was so excited to play this game I was almost wetting my pants. Sadly my day at the casino did not go as...

Pros: Great graphics, sound, gameplay.
Lots of different scenarios to play for single and multiplayers. Cons: Some backgrounds are N64-ish
More cool movies! (like for a character's ending)
I guarantee that when you load up this game, you'll be blown away. The intro movie is stunning, and when you select a mode of play, you won't know where to start, there are so many options! There's even an option to turn on or off anti-aliasing (I...

Pros: 25 characters, Tons of Levels, 290 Trophies to collect! Cons: None
Super Smash Brothers Melee shines as the best fighting game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Starting with 14 characters and 13 stages from Nintendos past, the player is challenged to unlock 11 more characters and 10 more stages by completing various...

Pros: The game is good for people that are just getting into fighting games. Cons: Nintendo could have added a few more types of moves and combos.
Super Smash Brothers Melee is the best fighting game for Game Cube I've played. The character selection is a great choice of Nintendo video game characters, including new characters, all of the old characters and also many secret characters. They...

Pros: All out fighting action with Nintendo's greastest characters what more could you want. Cons: The same as the first one, the one player mode.
I know this game quite well because I own it and it is an incredible game. You start with 13 playable characters and if you are good enough to unlock the other 12 characters you will have a total of 25 awesome characters! You also start with 18 usable...

Pros: Great fighting game! Cons: Not much difference from first game.
It has Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and many of your other favorite Nintendo games. It has a much more expanded first player game then the original Super Smash Brothers. And it has MUCH better graphics and music. This is the ultimate party game, but is slightly...

Pros: Pros: This game is very entertaining because it is hard in a challenging way. Cons: Cons: A little bit too much Pokemon and bonus stages are sometimes difficult.
Super Smash Bros. Melee ( for Gamecube) is a fighting-based game and is rated “Teens.” Unlike other fighting games, where you have to reduce an opponents life bar to “empty,” you have to hit opponents off the stage, and you have to build their damage...

Pros: Bringing back an old favorite, lots of characters, tons of fun Cons: About the same as the n64 version
Nintendo knew it had something good when it first released Super Smash Bros for N64. But when they released its sequel for Gamecube they had something great. Anyone who owns a Gamecube should own this game. It's great for the kids as well because the...

Pros: many characters, great fighting, many stages, different options Cons: can't find any
This game is awesome. For those that don't know much about Super Smash Brothers Melee, it is the 2nd issue of Super Smash Brothers for N64. This version is much better, though.
This game has characters in total, including Mario, Luigi, Peach,...

Pros: Graphics, hidden characters, controls, multiplayer modes Cons: very addictive
This game is most likely the best multiplayer game ever. It has excellent graphics, and many characters that can be unlocked. Also many levels too. The characters are from some of the best games around. Many levels can be unlocked, great for hours of...
