Pros: awesome design, family appeal, easy to setup and play, Wii Channels! Cons: weak hardware may reduce its lifespan as a console
Summary: Way back in September 06, I wrote an essay with my response to the Nintendo press conference on the Wii and mentioned three concerns I had about the console: would the very hyped controller be a gimmick or an actual fun way to play, would lack of ... read more

Pros: Simple, inexpensive, clean, and very fun. Well worth the cost. Cons: No high-definition support, but you'll forget about that immediately.
Summary: I must say that I was worried when I first heard that Nintendo was going to issue a console that didn't feature high-definition support, and that used a gesture-based controller. Now that I have played one, I can see that this is (hopefully) the new ... read more

Pros: Innovative, intuitive, and fun. Made by Nintendo means a bunch of exclusive and awesome titles. Cons: Can reveal how out of shape you are. Only *decent* graphics.
Summary: I'll keep this brief. I've had the Wii for about two weeks now, and honestly, I'm really liking it a lot! Obviously the graphics aren't what you're going to see on an XBox360, but if that is something that concerns you, then the Wii isn't really for you ... read more

Pros: Fun and innovative way to play video games. Cons: No high end graphics and controller sensitivity
Summary: I admit that I didn't pay too much attention when they announced the new Nintendo system a while ago, the kids went on and on about it with each little tidbit of information they read about it, although then it was known as the Revolution. I was more ... read more

Pros: Easy for anybody to enjoy with practically no learning curve. Cons: Some online features still need expanding. People making bad puns with the word "Wii".
Summary: * Note: I've tried to write this for those of us non-gamers who aren't so familiar with Mario, Sonic, or Link. (If you don't know who those three are, then this review is for you!) Instead, you've heard or sampled the wii and are wondering: what can ... read more

Pros: Innovative, fun, easy to pick up and play. Cons: Outdated graphics, no hard drive.
Summary: First off I have to admit I play a lot of video games, and I always have. Ever since I was a little guy, most of my free time was spent sitting in front of the tube with a controller in my hands playing a game. From the NES and Sega to the PS2 and ... read more

Pros: Virtual Console, Adaptivity, Innovative console gameplay Cons: None
Summary: Big kids, little kids, kids who climb on rocks. Fat kids, skinny kids, even kids with chicken pox. Basically, people from all ages love Wii. First off, I'm not going to compare the Wii to Xbox 360 and Ps3, it's just not in the same category, it's ... read more

Pros: built in wireless, backwards compatibility, Zelda Cons: awful name, weak hardware, online strategy, controller sensitivity, no HD support

Pros: Excellent unique gaming. You get in a few hours of exercise as well. Cons: NONE AT ALL.
Summary: Okay where to start. Me, like every other 12 year old in the world wanted a Nintendo Wii console for Christmas. Me, like 500,000 other people were sadly disappointed on Christmas morning. However, since my sad reality of never receiving one, I decided to ... read more

Pros: Inexpensive, innovative, GREAT games, good quality, JUST PLAIN FUN!! Cons: Only 480p graphics (no big deal). Hard to find.
Summary: My kids love this thing. It really has appeal for just about everyone. Instead of the bells and whistles route taken by Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo has focused on what people really want (similar to the DS vs PSP), great games and innovative game play. ... read more

Pros: Fun, price, controllers, game choices, backwards compatible Cons: Nothing, maybe causing me to have to catch my breath. lol.
Summary: This definitely won't be an uber-high tech review of the Wii, nor will it be extremely comprehensive... I have both the Wii and the PS3. Haven't touched the PS3 in 2 weeks or so, however, I can't get enough of the Wii. I've always been a huge ... read more

Pros: Innovative gameplay, Plays GameCube games, emulates older games, small. Cons: Maximum display is 480p, the controls still need a little tweaking.

Pros: Very fun and entertaining, it keeps you coming back for more with its great controls. Cons: WiiRemotes aren't the most durable thing in the world.
Graphics aren't anything perfect, but good.
Summary: The Wii. Just saying the name is fun! This console is the best "bang for the buck" because what you get verses what you pay ends up being a really good ratio. It's only $250, the cheapest Next-Generation console. The Wii is not like other gaming ... read more
