Pros: Incredibly long life, great traction in snow and rain. Decent performance in dry. Cons: High road noise levels if allowed to feather or cup.
This is the 2nd set of these tires we've used on my wife's 1997 Nissan Altima. We replaced the first set after 60k miles due to high road noise when the rears feathered from a poor alignment. We've since had the car re-aligned and put 30k miles on our ...
I have a 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback, which requires H rated tires. I had Potensa's before and the traction was OK. However after riding on Nittos I understand what real traction can be.
It is almost impossible to make the car skid now. I could not...
Pros: smooth ride, great traction, even in the rain, what else is there? Cons: try as I may, I can't think of any!
I have a BMW 528 and was fixing it up to be a really good road car when the tires came up. My employer, (I repair German Auto) told me I was looking for Nitto tires in the Premium Touring range. I bought the tires and had them installed and the quality...
Pros: Great feel, ride and sense of quality at a very affordable price. Cons: None
I don't buy tires often but did some a (lot) of web research looking first at brands I was familiar with. I learned all about traction and temperature ratings and tread wear ratings, just enough to become real dangerous! However when I stumbled on to the ...
I bought four of these tires several months ago for my wife's 98 Grand Marquis LS. We could not be more satisfied with their performance, ride and quietness. Before I go on, the answer is no, we are not old farts. We are in our upper 30's and have 3 ...
Pros: stable accurate steering and tracking Cons: ride a bit on the firm side
Great traction, excellent directional stability experienced on my first 1000 miles on 205/60-15 (on the front). Cant wait to replace the tires still on the rear even though they only have 20,000 miles on them. I do believe these tires make my V6 ...
Pros: Price, quiet, handling, great winter Cons: maybe not a stiff as a high end tire
I put a set of these 204/60 14" on a 1986 325 and was very impressed, very good handling, quiet, sticky and even good in the snow with 2 bags of sand for weight in the trunk, and thats saying a lot because Bmw's are tail happy in the winter. About 15k...
Excellent Quality at low prices by stringerb ,Feb 13 '04
Pros: Great value and quality for the price Cons: Can't think any
I bought the first two Nitto NT 460 (235/60/16") tires for my Chevy Blazer Xtreme almost one year ago. Now, one year later, I bought the remaining two and it seems like my truck has 4 new tires, because the first two don't show any sign of wearing out.
All the good reviews you're reading here are completely true, and these tires absolutely are worth more than the $76/ea I paid for them.
Pros: #1 Road Noise, Traction, Value, Tread Life Cons: I had to wait 2 days to have them delivered to the local Discount.
I purchased my Nitto 460 tires to replace my worn out Bridgestone Potenzas; "Best thing I ever did!!" Not only are these tires a great value. They have improved my cars ride, fuel consumption and not to mention cabin noise, especially cabin noise. My 01' Galant comes with very good insulation the tires just add more to it. With the Potenzas I always heard the road. When I switched over to the Nitto 460's cabin noise just dropped. Made the cabin sound like I was driving Lincoln. I plus sized them from a 195/65/R15 to a 205/60/R15, traction is great. I take corners like no bodies business. My wife hates it but the car feels stable and I always feel in control. If your from Houston, TX or you live were there a lot of wet weather driving, these tires deliver there too. In Houston when it rains you don't slow down; you drive faster(so you don't get as wet!! :)) The Nittos' never let me down. No you might think my driving habits are terrible but, at least I'm truthful.
Pros: handling like a sports car, great in snow, rain, anything,
definetly worth the money! Cons: Pavement noise, only on certain surfaces in Michigan.
I just want to say that the Nitto NT 460 tires I bought 8 months ago are great! I have and Intrepid and the stock tires stunk beyond belief. I put them on and it snowed the next day! I cut thru the snow like nothing. I average 70-75 on the expressway and don't feel anything. They are worth the $300.00 I paid to put them on! I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great all-season performance tire!
Great Tire at Great Price by bigdog702 ,May 31 '04
Pros: smooth ride. eliminates road noise. Cons: None Yet. Will write review every 10,000 miles or so.
Just had 4 new nitto NT460 put on my 1991 Bmw 318IS based on the reviews I have read here. The reviews are correct. These replaced some beat up Michelins that were on the vehicle. I notice a big difference right away. The tires grip good, and removed a lot of road noise. I have been very impressed with the tires so far. I have only put 150 miles on them so far, but it was definitly money well spent. It cost me 60.00 a tire with everything included.(mounting, balancing, valve stem, road hazard, free balance and rotation every 7-8 thousand miles etc. from tires.com.)I saw other people say 42.00 a tire, but I don't think that included all stuff mentioned above. They do handle the speed very well, took my BMW outside Las Vegas and ran them at about 100-110mph for a good 15min and they are smooth all the way. definitely worth the money. Why spend 100.00 a tire when these are as good as it gets for only 40-60 each!
Pros: Outstanding road grip, Bang-for-buck King, Brings back "ALL" to all-season tires. Cons: Tire footprint seems a little narrow for 205/60 (I'm pulling teeth here)
This is my 3rd set of tires on my '88 BMW 325is, and by far the best brand new tires I've ever had! Traction is right on par with my old Yokohama V-rated tires, as it held the St.Paul MN slick roads like a charm. With no slippage, I might add. Road noise is very minimal, though on some road surfaces it created an interesting, low 20B rotary-engine-like sound, which was rather interesting, but not obtrusive. After only 1700 miles, many more will be needed to see if they can dethrone my old Yokohama's for keeps!

Pros: Price, performance, wet and dry traction, reliability, quiet. Cons: They don't have a Nitto 460 size to fit my Tundra.
I have purchased 3 sets of the Nitto 460 tires. Both of my daughters and my wife rely on these tires and I couldn't feel safer. They have excellent traction, wet and dry. They perform very well in the snow and on the ice (Kansas). The price is excellent. I have had Bridgestone Potenza's and Michelin MXV4's. these are every bit as good as either of the others. I have been in the automotive and heavy duty truck business for 33 years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Nitto 460 to anyone, in any area of the country.
