Pros: Easy to use and works great. Cons: Can be a little expensive, if you need several treatments.
Summary: This was an incident that happened last year. I can remember it as though it just happened today. My 9 year old grandson Dustin came barging into my house all excited and all out of breath after getting off of his school bus. Gramma, Gramma, I've got...

Pros: Efficient, cetified organic, no pesticides, no paraben, no enzymes Cons: none
Summary: We bought initially the Safetrap because it is certified organic and therefore very safe for our children. We were also very happy to experience a very efficient product. SafeTrap works very well. Very concerned about the safety of our children, ...

Pros: creme didn't run, didn't dry out hair Cons: didn't kill big bugs, nit comb is useless, expensive
Summary: Like most people, when I realized my daughter had lice I instantly wanted nothing more than to have them gone. I sent my husband to the store to get something, and he got what the pharmacist recommended, the Nix Lice Treatment with two 2oz. bottles ...

Pros: kills lice Cons: hard to swallow:)
Summary: First I shall say that I have not used the product yet but it was the only product Kaiser Permanente doctors have recommended as safe for my pregnant wife and 3y daughter. Researching and looking more info I just spotted that many of the negative reviews ...

Pros: Easy instructions, easy to use, knowledgeable people at the 1-800 number Cons: Insufficient as a treatment by itself, concerns about toxicity
Summary: My son picked up lice from daycare. Reluctantly, I became somewhat of an expert - read everything, talked to public health nurses, commiserated and shared tips with other parents. We used RID for our first treatment, NIX for our second and ...

Pros: none Cons: pesticide, expensive, doesn't work after SEVERAL repeated treatments!
Summary: The first time I used this product I had no idea it was a pesticide! Call me stupid and un-educated, but I assumed it was medicated or something. The thought of actually putting a poison pesticide on my childrens hair was so far from my mind I would have ...

Pros: Quickly kills the lice and it's eggs, easy to use Cons: horribly strong smell
Summary: Thinking about Nix, is like thinking back to some of the more painful stages of my youth... Back when the obnoxious was just another part of growing up. Looking at my hair now, you wouldn't think that I would have ever had to deal with lice and even ...

Pros: Leaves hair easy to comb through. Cons: Did not kill all lice. Comb it comes with was worthless.
Summary: My 11-year-old daughter complained of an itchy head for a couple of days before I checked to see if she had lice. You never think it can happen to you. SURPRISE! I looked through her hair and spotted quite a few nits. Tiny little dots attached to her...

Pros: Nothing. Cons: Everything.
Summary: She has bugs alright, and so do six of her friends. My God, how could this be happening? And what do I do?
Immediately, we run to Wal-Mart and pick up NIX to use on all the kids. The directions are easy, place on wet hair after washing,...

Pros: Kills the lice. Cons: OVER-PRICED, leaves hair rough unless you pay more for the cream rinse combo.
Summary: There it is…the telltale digging on the top of the head with a grubby little index finger. You kinda blow it off at first…just a case of needing a bath and shampooing of a little head. After all…little kids are notorious for NOT washing their hair...

Pros: Ease of use. Very effective, if you don't have a resistant lice strain. Cons: Seems that many lice strains are resistant to the stuff
Summary: I can't tell you how unhappy I am to be writing this review. My daughters are in middle and high school, and should be pretty safely out of the lice hot zone.
Not!
About the sixth or seventh time in an hour I saw my daughter...

Pros: My hair is clean. Cons: I have lice.
Summary: The kid was in kindergarten when she met her first louse.
I had met one earlier, much, much earlier. I should have warned her.
Little brown tear drops appeared on the shaft of her hairs, dangerous buggers, they contain lice, about to hatch....

Pros: Easy to use. Wonderful customer service. Cons: Has a medicinal smell, expensive, did not work for us!
Summary: At the end of last school year my 12 yr. old, a 6th grader, came home with more his report card. Yes indeed! He brought a "gift" from another student.... HEADLICE!

Pros: none, I like the comb in RID better Cons: Everything

Pros: kills lice if used correctly Cons: contains insecticide, not recommended for infants
Summary: Unfortunately, Nix is a product I have had the
misfortune of becoming familiar with both at
my previous job working in a medical clinic and
at home.
The problem with Nix and other over the counter
headlice treatments is...
