This is an excellent mattress! I was concerned about chemicals in other crib mattresses and I spent a lot of time researching various organic brands. While most brands seemed to get rid of the bad chemicals, none of them really made a crib mattress that was any good functionally. Naturepedic mattresses are waterproof which makes me feel a lot better when there are accidents. I wouldn't want my $300 organic mattress growing mold after the first accident! They use food grade polyethylene for the waterproofing, which means it is even safe to eat off of.

I also liked the fact that they do not use wool like everybody else. Many children have wool allergies and I don't want to take any chances.

My mattress arrived in good condition 6 days after I placed my order. It has held up quite well after 5 months.
