Pros: Clear, loud, good battery life. Cons: Not useful for anything but calling and texting.
The Nokia 6085 is not a competitor to the iPhone or the G1. Not by a long shot. In fact, most people probably will get this phone because it's the cheapest available with a new plan at their local AT&T store. It's safe to say that glamour and style ...
Pros: Great durability, easy texting, along with some nice added extras. Cons: Not the greatest camera, dark external LCD, cannot send videos.
Last year I made a choice for the Nokia 6085. It was one of the free cell phone choices offered by AT&T. I will be honest and say it has not been one of my favorite cell phones. But, it has been my favorite of the free phones offered by AT&T. ...
Pros: Great signal and battery life. Cons: Volume could be better as well as outside window features.
I first decided on upgrading my cell phone after I was on the Metro North train and the man next to me saw my old dinosaur and it became the talk of the train car. It was still functional but old and starting to have problems. It was a bit ...
Pros: Simple, easy to use, easy to personalize, No frills Cons: Long term durability is disappointing.
I got my Nokia 6085 last year when I was getting bored with my other phone. I loved my Nokia so much, I honestly couldn't tell you what my other phone was. In all honesty, I am writing this review posthumously, as my Nokia has died.As this ...
Pros: Excellent signal strength and sound quality. Compact but not too small. Cons: Idle screen on mini display limited to time of day.
Our latest customer loyalty freebie phones from AT&T (Cathy's is pink, mine is black), the Nokia 6085 delivers the goods. It's also free to new customers who sign up at AT&T's website for two years of service. The main screen is nearly as sharp as a ...
Pros: The phone is cute, light, and user friendly. Cons: The phone gets stuck on headset mode.
I think this phone is okay. I bought it because other reviews said it was great for the hard of hearing. I don't hear very well, but I also don't wear hearing aids. This phone has been terrible - I can't hear people well at all and ...
Pros: Color screen, good picture quality, multimedia messages, recording feature, adequate storage, FMradio, withstands a beating! Cons: Megapixels, limited colors, annoyingly long delete feature for messages.
This is a great little phone from Nokia. It is a fairly basic, standard cell phone but has enough features to get your money's worth. Color screen provides good picture quality for backgrounds and multimedia messages, though cameraphone pixels nothing to ...
This is our daughter's first cell phone. We added her to our plan and the Phone was free. Its a nice little phone. We got this phone (the pink one) about a month ago and the sound (speaker) went out on it. It was under warranty and AT&T replaced it ...
Pros: Comfortable to hold;
ample push buttons
Nice size and shape Cons: Poor talk quality with consistent echo
dropped calls
If AT&T really wants to show gratitude to its loyal customers, they'll have to do better than this. The Nokia 6085 failed to earn even one bar of appreciation from me. As upgrade time rolled around, AT&T offered this little number - a brother and ...
Pros: good size, multimedia messages, good sound quality, stays charged for a long period of time. Cons: not a lot of storage space, scratches easily, pictures don’t come out very clear.
This is my first phone but it’s still a good one. I own the black one; they also have a pink one. Even though it’s a free phone it’s not as cheep as people might think. Its works just like a good, non-cheep phone. It’s a camera ...
Good phone for the price by yarreola2510 ,Jan 22 '09
Pros: Battery lasts days. Takes good pictures. Cons: Low memory storage. Internet browsing is slow and awkward.
I got a Nokia 6085 free with a contract from my wireless provider, and while it's not the best phone out there, it has exceeded my expectations. It has your basic uses: make and receive calls, text messages, pictures, etc.
Pros: Good recetion and great calling range via AT&T. Cons: Hate the menu with sub menus, etc. I like simple phones or Blackberry's.
AT&T has mailed two of these to me in six months. Got the second one yesterday after repeated problems from day one closing the memory card/ micro SD slot cover . The slot cover would never fully close and firmly snap in. Well, the replacement did the same thing after inserting the micro sd card. I have had it with this phone. Maybe I got two bad phones?
Bought a go phone for $99.00 from Best Buys by hosscartright ,Feb 03 '09
Pros: Great reception, good battery life. Cons: Too many missed calls 'cause I can't hear it ringing.
Wanted to avoid renewing the ATT contract as the deal I am on now is super.... So I bought the go-phone and slipped my SIM card in there.. Phone works great, but the ring tone is not loud enough. I see this complaint on many blogs.. I am going to see if there is a fix, I have found some suggestions on the net. For now, I have it on vibrate and the loudest setting.. But if it is in my belt holster, I can't feel it vibrate, so now it is in my pocket with my keys and pocket knife.. Difficult for a working man like me to have a cell phone that meets my needs. My Motorola had the same problem.. There is background noise everywhere in my life. Curious how some of the phone manufacturers don't seem to understand this?
