Pros: Beautifully stylish device; perfect for accessing the web around the house Cons: At the end of it's software support lifespan; overshadowed by iPod Touch
The Nokia 770 (or Maemo) appears to have been misunderstood - and suffered as a result. A number of reviews have given it poor marks for memory limitations, stability, and flexibility... but I love it, and here's why: Firstly, the 770 isn't a mobile ...

Design of the 770 itself. Out of the box, the design of the device is really pleasing. It looks slick. It has a built-in hard case that you slide the main unit in and out of, so it's easy to protect the screen when it's not in use. the unit has a ...

First, you need to understand the purpose of the 770. It is a wi-fi internet tablet. If you purchase it for that reason, you will love it. For the price, it is a great way to do e-mail and surf the net just like your laptop. I use it to read the news, check e-mail, shop for reviews and check prices on products when I am in my car or in the mall. It is small and fits in your pocket, so you can easily take it with you. With the ever increasing availability of hot spots, the Nokia 770 is becoming more useful. It has VOIP phone capability, but I use my Motorola Q for as my phone/pda.
I don't like it!!!!!!!! I bought it for $800 and I think I spent my money in vain. No internet, no gps, no wi fi... I am not using it. So you'd like to buy the used one, feel free to write.
Pros: Small, lightweight, good portable internet tablet. Responsive touchscreen. Cons: Grainy touchscreen, could be hard to read for those who have bad eyesight.
When I received this product, my first thought was my, how tiny. This only raised my speculations on this product because I needed a lightweight and portable internet tablet for my usage. It connected to our wireless network right away and I connected to the internet. It seemed like it loads pages slightly slower than on a normal computer but still fast. I had no pages that would not load at all. All I have to say is buy it!
