Pros: Nice screen, great keyboard, fantastic reception Cons: Slow, ugly, and cameraless
An Introduction I recently switched my phone service from Alltel to C
ellular
One and I wanted a phone with a full keyboard for texting and email. This Nokia was cheap, like my plan on CellularOne. So I took ...
Pros: Big bright screen, Qwerty keyboard, Thin, Music Player, Price and features Cons: No Wifi, Screen prone to scratches, No camera, Little slow opening folders and launching applications
INTRODUCTION: Cingular introduced this phone on the market on September 29, 2006 at a very competitive price of $149 with a two year contract and I was there to grab one for myself on September 30, 2006 (I Upgraded and have been with cingular for about ...
Pros: Looks. Screen orientation for web browsing. Keypad. Cons: 4 reboots, and 2 locks that needed battery removal to clear in 1 week.
I liked the form factor of the E62 and at $100 after a rebate from Cingular, I bit. I used the phone for 1 week and went on a 2 day business trip with it. Whatever else works or does not, the fact that it rebooted twice while I was on calls made it ...
Pros: Long battery life, good call quality, crystal clear screen. Cons: Lousy internet connectivity, buggy built-in applications, mono HF only, limited multimedia support.
Overview: the screen is very pretty, the keypad is large enough to be usable, and the call clarity is quite high. However, the web browser is slow and incredibly buggy, the processor is sluggish, and the voice recorder is too easy to trigger. This review ...
Pros: Good Screen Cons: Sluggishly SLOW, Non-Responsive, Small Buttons = Mistypes
I am amazed at the number of positive reviews and recommendations I read that convinced me to buy this phone. THIS THING IS AWEFUL!! What I was looking for: A sensible data organizer and phone with good computer synchronization, decent video ...
Pros: Compact phone with all the bells and whistles expected in a PIM phone. Cons: Voice recorder button is placed such that it is always activated when handling the phone.
I purchased this phone after the company I worked for told me I can't have a phone with a camera. Since PIM phones are about the only things without cameras these days, I decided to get one. The phone overall is great; great screen, easy to use ...
Pros: style, construction, no dropped calls, easy to hear the other caller, email a plus! Cons: record button can be a pain
Love the construction of the phone, it's durable, and the keys do not break easily. The record button is a pain but I just lock the keypad and that has solved that problem. I like the different profiles and how easy it is to access through the power button (if you press it lightly it will take you to a drop down menu to select). I love the colors and size of screen. I can view web pages like I am sitting at my desk top at home. Email access is quick and effective, not confusing. I love the PDA part of it, you have different functions to choose from such as meetings, to dos, etc. Additionally I like the MP3 part, the speaker sucks but not bad overall. Easy to use as a ring tone if you like. Slides perfectly into a pocket, the screen can get scratched but I baby my electronics anyways and haven't had any problems. Ease of use to transfer data, pictures, videos, etc. Great for word docs, presentations, and very mobile.
Phenomenal phone for the capable by mfw1982 ,Nov 29 '07
Pros: Great call clarity/volume
Excellent email/internet capabilities
Talk/Standby time
Kiss your separate PDA goodbye
Cons: I concur, record button too close to the volume!
No it doesn't have a camera and yes the keys are small, but blame the user not the product. This phone wasn't designed for kids who only text and take pictures! It was designed for business professionals with busy schedules. The phone is well executed in this instance and performs flawlessly!
Pros: Its a Nokia! Size/clarity of screen, great for internet use, good speakers Cons: No camera, slow loading applications, the record button is annoying, no WiFi.
I, like so many others, purchased to phone because of the big screen and the attractive sales approach offered ($100 instant rebate and $50 mail-in rebate). I love all things Nokia, but this phone let me down. It is VERY slow! There was an update to fix the problem with text messages taking 3-4 seconds to open up, but it isn't much faster. The memo record button on the side, though a nice feature, is very easily pressed... you'll know exactly whats going on inside of your pocket! The lack of a camera at first didn't bother me, but I think they should have added one. The phone is also not equipt with WiFi. Surfing the net, however, is very nice on this phone. The large screen and QWERTY keyboard make it very easy to do all things internet. In my opinion, this phone is made primarily for business use.
Pros: Easy to use interface. No excessive extras Cons: A little slow on voice dial but no big deal. Maybe My fault with setup
I have had mine for a couple of weeks now. No problems and the biggest concern I had was whether the cell phone end of this machine was going to work properly. I live in a remote area and I have troubles with reception. This machine performed as well as My Motorola.
Nokia e62 is NOT the same as the e61 by hueyhawk ,Oct 02 '06
Pros: great screen and mp3 sound. ear piece is now a miniplug Cons: not 3G/WiFi,RECORD button is easily pressed, charging adaptor is smaller, Cingular won't insure it.
I bought mine on 9/29 from Cingular. It did a rough demo of Cingular Video so I bought it. As soon as they cut the SIM and I'd paid for it, POOF, Cingular Video never showed again. One rep said the 3G network wasn't up yet but should be soon. YEH?? Then why did it work for a moment there? MobiTV - forget it. e61 isn't set to run on MobiTV and probably wouldn't be smooth as e62 is NOT 3G. VCast from Horizan has this beat for video by miles. e62 is large but thin. Keys are very small but very nice for web browsing. Screen is very nice, mp3 is very nice albeit they just supply a mono earpiece. The Cingular site will say you need 3G for Cingular Video - but it worked on the e62 for a moment. The e61 is the European version and it does have 3G AND WiFi. Cingular stripped the 3G and WiFi off for the American version. Very disappointed. Took it back the 2nd day. If Cingular can't make their own products work on it, I don't need to be doing the beta for them.
