Pros: Beautiful
Cons: Doesn't work very well.

We got this beautiful mobile as a gift. After putting it together, the mobile stopped spinning after day 2. I got it spinning again by pushing the hook up, but after a few spins, the hook would fall and the mobile would stop spinning again.

Pros: Attractive pastel--babies love it!
Cons: Pricey Music box broken within 4 months (only 1 of the 3 I own)

I bought this because it is adorable, unisex and looks terrific in our nursery.

I wanted to comment since I have triplets and, therefore, own three of these. The babies loved them. I loved to hear them wake up and coo and "talk" to the animals.

I have not had any problems with the arm snapping of any of ours as mentioned in the previous post. We used ours until the babies were 8 months old. We removed them, then because they were trying to pull them down.

One of the wind up music mechanisms did, however, stop working within the first 4 months.

Pros: Cute looking, unisex mobile
Cons: Inferior construction, poor quality

I bought this mobile for my grandson. The arm snapped off within a few months as my daughter was winding it. She contacted the company and their only comment was that mobiles should be removed from the crib when an infant is 6 months old. This may be true but at that point the baby couldn't reach it. They did however, send a replacement arm.
Now, in use for another infant, the exact same thing happened- the arm snapped off winding it with two hands. Another call to No. American Bear Co. and they were totally unconcerned. Same response-they would replace the arm.
I don't know what this says for safety. Fortunately there was no mishap with the baby lying in the crib. I definitely think this is an inferior product for upwards of $ 50.00. I would never buy any product from this company again. An apology would not fix the problem, but they didn't even offer that.
