Pros: interesting twists on expectations for those who read his first trilogy Cons: unsympathetic main characters...at first
For anyone who read Harris's first three novels (Invisible Life, Just as I Am, Abide With Me), the two "playas" who enliven this book will be familiar. Yancey Braxton is a wannabe soul diva on the way up who means to let nothing stand in her way....

Pros: This is one of Mr. Harris' finest works.
Cons: The other side of this book is that there should have been more.

Yancy and Basil, who are the main characters...
