NovaForm Elite-Isotonic Memory Foam Mattress Topper

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Not a "soft feeling" but instead a "sinking feeling"....

I know some people just rave about the memory foam, but it definitely isn't for everyone. I bought the Novaform topper from Costco and slept on it for 3 nights and then brought it back. I had WORSE aches and pains with it! I think maybe because it's hard to move since you "sink" into it... The memory foam topper makes it feel like you're being "swallowed by your bed" and "stuck" in one position. Plus, there's just something creepy about laying down and slowly sinking down..... (feels like quick sand).

Pros: VERY COMFORTABLE!! just remember to turn it and flip it every few months!!
Cons: Make sure it expands properly!!!

Our first mattress topper from Costco did not fully expand on the edges we waited about a month and finally took it back for another one. It expanded instantly so don't waste time like we id by waiting give it a day or 2 then exchange it. they told us at Costco that about 1 in 15 do that a heads up would have been nice as was quite cumberson to take back.

Pros: Comfortable, reasonably priced.
Cons: Odor overwhelming

Comfortable but the odor is overwhelming still after a week of ventilating the mattress all day while not being used.   I've developed an extremely bad sore throat and I've actually lost a lot of energy since purchasing this thing, due to being up all night coughing from the odor.    This is with a window open, a fan blowing air out of the room, and a fan running 24/7 in the bathroom.

Manufacturer should not be allowed to sell something like this without having the product properly ventilated first.   I purchased a different brand foam topper about 10 years ago and the odor was gone after one day.

If the odor is not gone soon I will be returning the product to Costco.
